I Stopped by Uno at Union Station before my train ride... service was great. My server Was very attentive. Mango blush sangria was so so delicious. Vegan thin crust pizza... well, just ok. It was less than like warm when it arrived. It was beautiful i must say, fresh veggies all around, but super cold. My server immediately brought me over some extra hot marinara as I requested which helped quite a bit. He offered to bring it back but i am not accustomed to doing that. It tasted ok. Crispy bread pudding bites were actually quite good! And tasty.. I enjoyed my location and had great views of the train station, just wish my dinner was better.
Im a native of 43 yrs and have been eating at Unos for many years. My favorite was the Georgetown location (RIP). While there are a few staples I miss like the All American the food is still as delicious as it was 25 yrs ago! The Potato Skins are a classic & a must try if youve never had them. However, the service was HORRIBLE. We waited 15 mins for a server to come greet us. Then when he did finally show up it toom another 10 mins for him to bring our sodas. Our food took so long it was crazy. We will definitely return because the food is still really amazing but the service took away from our experience.
The deep dish pizza wasn't good. It was actually awful. Cold, dry, and burnt. The pasta dish was also cold, and the flavor...well, we never found it. The salad was the highlight, and it was just mixed lettuce and italian dressing. The server was also missing in action the whole meal. It is not somewhere we would retun.
This was my 1st. time dining at UNO Pizzeria & Grill. What a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious & our server Kiona was such a delight. Her beautiful personality made our day. It's nothing like having someone that goes far & beyond giving the best customer service. I know that I will be eating at UNO again. This was a day trip adventure, the next time I'll probably visit the one located about 20 minutes from my home in Canton located in Baltimore MD. Thanks for making our day, until my next trip to DC.????❤️
Took a little bit to get our food, but it was worth the wait. I had the 4 cheese pesto individual pizza, and it was excellent. My waitor was polite, accurate, and attentive. Definitely plan to return in the future. Make a reservation to save on wait time.
We had a little over an hour to our train. Our server was delayed in coming over, close to 15 min. Then took several requests to get beers, over 30 min! The pizza actually arrived before the drinks. Then the appetizer arrived when we were about half through the pizza. We barely had time to eat and finish our drinks before we had to leave. Didn’t seem like any manager was on shift or anyone cared about the experience and it also wasn’t clear if anyone was working at the bar. Also the restaurant had a mildewy smell. We asked for hand wipes, mine was dried out when I opened the wrapper. Some real attention is needed to this place to serve customers... While the server consistently interacted with us in a pleasant smiling manner, it unfortunately didn’t make up for very disappointing experience, she pretended like there were no delays and mess ups.
Pizza was good, both deep dish and thin. The spinach artichoke dip was so so.
If they weren’t the only place in Union Stn to serve beer, not sure why anyone would come here.
I just had to write this review because it was our worst dining experiences EVER!! We seemed to be invisible waiting to be seated. Took awhile to be noticed by a server even asking who would that be…. Ordered cocktails and waited and waited for them to be delivered. Our server no where in site (most of the time) as our drinks became warm and diluted sitting on the bar. After waiting and waiting, I went to the server bar station and picked up our drinks with permission from the bartender. Then food finally was delivered. Server seemed not to notice she had not brought the drinks and apparently didn’t care how they magically arrived at our table. Food was okay. Soup served with a teaspoon. I won’t even go into how long and how many servers we asked for a simple soup spoon. These servers need some SERIOUS training!! PS. Please mention to the people hanging around the check in station to refrain from constantly playing with their hair. That was disgusting!! And people eat here???PS. This was the worst dining experience we have ever had!! Needless to say she did not deserve a tip by any means, but I was a server for many years and had to leave something…but certainly not deserved!! This place needs some serious clean up from management!! Worst place ever!!
Was excited to see there was an UNO close to my hotel in DC as I always stop at the Orlando location back home. Unfortunately the food tasted like pizza hut. Very disappointing deep dish pizza.
