This place is not inviting once you get inside. Outside is very colorful, dark green with yellow & red accents, lots of flags on the roof. Inside it's all prison cafeteria. Bulletproof "glass", a slide you put your money through like you're at a bank, a turntable your food comes out on (also bulletproof). Even though I was the only one there - at just past noon - I wasn't eating in.
Getting my two coneys to go (it didn't actually matter, it turns out) I was happy to eat in the car, something I rarely even consider.
The menu is very expansive, pitas, breakfast, etc., on offer. And they have a drive thru. Per the sign, they are open 24 hrs.
The dogs were fine, the buns seemed a bit old & were a little dry and flavorless.
Can't envision returning here.
The cashier is super friendly and accurate. Made sure my order was prepared right. Great Customer service. The pita sandwich ordered was EVERYTHING. They have great options to add on. A little more expensive then expected but worth it. Will be coming back to try different options. Very generous portions so the price was undoubtedly worth it. Would suggest adding a menu online would have liked to make a selection before coming in or a call in. Nonetheless excellent place to try if your looking for the Detroit Specialty Coney island
This place sells spoiled food. Cheese / chicken spoiled on a few occasions. I strongly recommend that you avoid this place. Service is horrible as well.
Hands down the worst coney ever food nasty and they’ll mess your order up charging you extra for stuff then when you get home you don’t have it and they refuse to refund you or replace what they didn’t give you just horrible all around the lady is rude and hostile
My hashbrowns were burnt and taste like plastic. This is unacceptable! I ordered an omelette with hashbrowns and waited over 20 minutes for my order. I believe he used some Old hash browns because they didn’t taste fresh at all. I’m tired of these establishments coming into the community and not giving quality service.
Good coneys and the chicken stir fry was was very good
I received 2 molded cakes, a milkshake that tasted like chalk and a salad with old lettuce. Very disappointed since this was my favorite neighborhood coney. I left my hometown disappointed and pissed.
This bacon, egg and cheese, with hash brown sandwich was perfect! I couldn’t have made it better myself!
