I had a 5 star experience at United Muffler Shop. I called ahead to ask for a quote and availability. I was told I could come in the same day. I was greeted as soon as I arrived. Pepe had me drive the car unto the lift and he started working immediately. I had the factory exhaust system on my Mustang replaced with a new cat back exhaust. Pepe determined that the final price was lower than the quoted price, after seeing the new exhaust. This shows how honest and fair the pricing is. I will return here for any muffler needs, and will recommend this shop to family and friends. Thank you!
I took my car in on Saturday afternoon for a resonator install and remove my existing catback system. I used a resonator I purchased elsewhere and after he has it picked up he said it will be a little low, which judging by the rest of the car was not that low so I wasn't concerned. He completed the job and asked me to back the car off the lift, as I backed it off the resonator hit the crossbar on the lift and bent a lot of my exhaust(one part being a very expensive downpipe from the turbo). He proceeded to have be back up while prying the exhaust up to clear the crossbar. Thinking if he met me leave his shop it must be fine...wrong! I drive home and it was scraping the road anytime I hot a slight bump. I get it home and see it's only an inch off the ground and it's all bent and pinched in several places! He had closed his shop for the day by the time I seen it. I was forced to take it to another shop on Sunday due to its lack of drivability and getting to work all week. It cost me $200 to fix it and he refuses to accept responsibility. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable to let a customer leave like that and to make it worse, I had already tipped him $30 before I backed it off the rack(which he should have done). DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. He also just changed his story in his response below! Didn't even listen to what I said. I took it to another shop to fix what HE MESSED UP!
Awesome shop and great service! Drove up wanting to make an appointment for a patch weld I needed on my GMC Denali. They had a car on the lift already but I was asked to wait. After they were done... I spoke to Pepe and he said he could do it now and to drive my truck on the lift. I showed him my concern and he said "no problem". Took him about 5 to 10 minutes and showed me what he did after he finished. Very happy with the outcome and will definitely be back for any and all of my exhaust needs. Very reasonably priced as well. Thanks again Pepe!!!

Went to weld my exhaust tip back, told the owner i had plans on redoing the exhaust pipes from the cat back, he gave me an awesome price!, So i got my pipes done from the cats back. Honestly the best price in houston. Very friendly, Quality work! Will come back!
