Everything we had was great. My girlfriend and I had the chicken and waffles with a side of macaroni and cheese and my son had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich combo with fries. Quick service and really reasonable prices. This place is located at the old Churches Chicken restaurant on route 1 and north kings highway. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.
The chicken was fresh and tasty. The mac n cheese was baked just right. But the main event was that banana pudding. I tell everybody all the time my Mama is a country girl and I'll put money on her banana pudding any day! But as of 5/18/2024 Mama got a little competition. That's the closest I've ever gotten to homemade banana pudding without that Jello banana cream filling that folks got the nerve to call homemade. Uncle C's just ain't got that meringue topping like my Mama. But if you from the south like me and you want some banana pudding that taste like it came out your Grandma kitchen on Sunday afternoon after church definitely try Uncle C's.
Best chicken ever! So thick and perfectly cooked. Waffles are light and sweet. Honey mustard and bbq sauce on point! Don’t even get me started on the homemade banana pudding—incredible meal, friendly staff and great quality for the money. Definitely going back
Two weeks ago, I ordered the fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and a banana pudding. The food was amazing, and I wrote an amazing review. What I value most in good food establishments is consistency. Today, while at work again, I decided to order two orders of the delicious banana pudding via Door Dash again. However, what I got today was cream covered rotten bananas, and no, I'm not calling for a refund, but this has impacted your restaurant's reputation, and I will never order anything from here again. Thanks for the one positive experience...you guys might want to discard the remaining product, as you can see from the photos the bananas are black.
Taste was ok and chicken in checked sandwich was not so tender. Went for Chicken sandwich as it was shown popular but I feel I should have gone for the salad
Good food and good service! Orders came fast, and the chicken was popping hot! The waffle has a great crispy outer layer that is very satisfying to bite into. The interior of the waffle was airy, light, and fluffy. I will be back!!
I rarely write reviews, I should probably do it more often, but we stopped in to visit this place for the first time. Had a mix of tenders, waffles, fries, sandwich, Mac and wrap. Waffle was airy and fresh. I only gave 4 because it was quite pricey for a 5 piece tender and fries, the 4 of us was $70.
The reason I had to write the review is that it was probably one of the cleanest restaurants I have eaten in a while! The bathroom was literally spotless. The floors were clean, soda station spotless. Fried chicken places can kinda smell like oil and stale sometimes and this place HAD NO SMELL. Also great service at the counter.
It was my first time at breakfast. The food was excellent. I ordered 2 sandwiches and they arrived in perfect condition. The waffles are delicious and large and the entire place was very clean. The service was first class despite being only one. The guy served me excellently and all of me. family, we asked him his name because we wanted to thank him for being such a kind person, his name was Bruno and we thanked me since it was our first time, we left very pleased
