Best KPortal Reviews

One of the best pizza experiences in Bridgeport and beyond. The slices a la carte are always fresh and have a great variety. Easily one of the best sauce/dough/cheese experiences you will have on a pizza, hands down. They also have espresso and authentic gelato.
The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions. They also have.other eating experiences that I have yet to try. Love this place.
The place wasn't crowded, which I loved because I feel uncomfortable in crowded places. The food was freshly made to order, and the service was super friendly. The food itself was delicious, and the gelato was sweet and creamy, just as I expected.
I am ecstatic about this place. It's clean, the food is great and the employees are awesome. People say it's NY-style pizza but I say it's Bridgeport-style pizza. Brick oven! So give it a try... You won't be disappointed!
I first found Una Dolce Vita when I went to a concert at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater last Friday and they had gelato carts at the entrance! I spoke briefly to the owner, who mentioned they had brick oven NY style pizza at their newly opened restaurant, so I knew I had to come check it out. First of all, I was so impressed with how beautiful this restaurant was and how much work had been put into it. A place like this in Bridgeport is unheard of! All of the pizzas we had were fantastic, and the meat toppings really stood out to us. We tried “speck”, a type of cured ham for the first time, and it was delicious! The “Una Dolce Vita” signature pizza looked like the Italian flag and was such a creative and tasty option. The restaurant has a beautiful bar and even serves gelato in bubble cones - they’re the first place I’ve found in CT that puts gelato in bubble cones! Whether you want a personal pizza, just a slice, or want to branch out and try Sicilian or Grandma style pizzas (which aren’t easy to find in this area may I add), Una Dolce Vita has something for everyone. We will be back!!
My kids and I wanted to try something different. Nice spot for gelato! We took calzones to go, which were great as well.
My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Westport. The food was delicious, and I regret not taking photos to post. My girlfriend had the white pizza (which comes with marinara), I had the meatball parm roll (which also comes with marinara), and we shared the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The crust on both was perfect -- strong enough to support the toppings but still buttery enough to offer a pleasant chewing experience. The marinara was incredible, and I regret not buying one of their jars to go. (Maybe next time.) The interior is clean and well-lit. The service is polite, friendly and very capable. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth your time.
Delicious pizza and gelato! My favorite is the ham and pineapple 10inch. I love the current special $10 for a 10inch pizza with a soda. Coconut gelato was great. Great customer service!
i am italian from new york. connecticut pizza has disappointed me so badly that i no longer look forward to eating pizza. i was taken to this place with my friends a few days ago. hands down it is the best pizza i have ever had in connecticut. it is everything a pizza should be. light on the sauce, heavy on the cheese, fluffy but crunchy crust. no burnt crust, no cheese sliding off the slice on the first bite, no excessive use of oregano, just a simple pizza the way it should be.
i tried a plain cheese slice. this is always the litmus test for me. in my opinion, if they can't get a plain slice right, they're not gonna get anything else right either. they have plenty of options for toppings. a lot of the options are classic new york toppings like sausage and broccoli rabe and an authentic white pizza. they had some more outlandish toppings as well, but i think as long as they serve the classics they can do whatever else they want.
i also had their pistacio cake and it was delightful. they have tiramisu and it looked great, but i was not in the mood at the moment. i bet it's fantastic though. i also noticed they had hazelnut ice cream, which is a little hard to come by around here. i plan on coming back for it.
great atmosphere, incredibly helpful staff, comprehensive menu, everything you need is already on the table. everything was clean and neat and well-stocked. everyone should try it at least once.
