Amazing food, Friendly staff, Very clean, Recommend coming! So sad closing on November 19 2018
I can't believe I haven't left a review until now! I've been going here for years and ever since my first visit, I knew it would be my favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and they give you tons of it. They used to have hibachi, but they no longer do, unfortunately. Regardless, everything is delicious. They are always so nice and even though we don't go as often as we'd like, they always remember us and welcome us like family. Support local business by visiting this fine establishment!
This was my fiance and I's first time coming to Umi and we actually found it by accident. I am so glad we did. The staff was extremely inviting and friendly. The food was really good especially for the price. All you can eat for $15!! We had hibachi and sushi, the sushi was really good and fresh. The restaurant was clean and adhered to all covid protocals. The service was quick and friendly. All in all a great experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to all.

They take forever to bring your food out in incriminates in hopes that you will not order more!

Place was empty on a Saturday night only one other couple. Place was unorganized and dated

I've been eating with them for over 20 years, very nice people the food is good and is fresh lot better then most Japanese steak houses especially there ginger sauce is awesome no one does it better.
Took almost an HOUR to even START cooking our main course. Chef was polite and food was good. Next 45 minutes of cooking and eating server not once checked on us or got us refills. 1hr 45 minutes total never checked on us after sitting. Will not be eating here again. The food was good though, not the chefs fault the service was terrible and he was seemingly only chef working (he was cooking when we walked in seemed we waited on him to cook for other patrons, management should be better staffed)
I loved it and so did my family. The food was amazing but the wait time is somewhat long but it's worth the wait. The service of people are so nice and if your near by I highly recommend going to it.
The prices are insane! I mean it's cool how they cook your food right in front of you. But honestly my son and I didn't really like it there wasn't any taste to the food. And it cost ????me just about $????60 bucks for only my son and myself. We got steak rice veggies. Yuk I won't be going back there any time soon.☹️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
