The restaurant is small on the number of seats, but big on taste. Breakfast and their lunch Thali is must try items.
This little dive has really delicious dosa!
I especially enjoy the masala dosa with the red sauce. You can see into their kitchen and it looks very clean and well organised.
One of my fav restaurant but has lost its charm and taste . Poor service also
Udupi Restaurant is tucked away in a corner. It is a good place to enjoy traditional South Indian snacks like Idli, Wada, Sambar etc.
Don't expect fancy setup if you like the dine-in experience. This is more of a quick snack place. I usually prefer to pick the food and take it home to enjoy.
The place also serves the traditional 'thali' which is a proper lunch/dinner made of rice, roti, several vegetarian dishes and some sweet.
This is purely a vegetarian restaurant. No non veg food is served here.
Recommended.
The menu is same over the years though in recent months has seen some price increases.
The crowd has increased.
Earlier udupi salmiya was an awesome dine out experience.. i went on december 2020, the situation is pathetic.. they serve burned dosa. See i photo.

Their food is good, though they close at 11 pm, you go there by mistake 10.10 pm they will say we are closed
