LTL trucking company servicing WI, MI, MN and IL. Recently acquired by by Pitt-Ohio giving access to the East coast with fast delivery.
AVOID THIS COMPANY. I was in need of a shipment fast so I had my vendor get it out ASAP, then It arrived to UP Special two days later, and I did not receive it. No call from them. When I finally tracked it I was told I needed a "Delivery Appt." WTH is that? Do I need a delivery appt for UPS or USPS? Nope. I was told by their "Terminal Manager" that times are tough, drivers out sick etc.... This is a poorly run business and falls very short of expectation.
Many people don't understand about trucks and the cargo. They deliver 90% of all Goods. People should be more respectful of trucks on the road.
Think about every time you go to the store where does at product come from that you buy.
Need better website access in order to assess rates and pick up requirements. Can be a pain to figure out.
One of my favorite swap locations. Always a good laugh and fun conversations with this crew!
