Went there to do lamp and brake inspection as requested by DMV. Sang the owner has a very friendly disposition and very helpful answering questions.
I had a great experience getting a pre-purchase inspection done here. It was done quick and the notes for fixes were all documented. Mechanic seems knowledable and is friendly / easy to talk to

Very disappointed experience here
To avoid this place, I received the DMV request to do the brake check, I found this place via yelp, called the past to ask the price, the owner said that it was cost $125 for inspection fee and certificate, I made an appointment to go on Tuesday morning, when I arrived, the Owner Sang looked very friendly and warm, he probably look at my car, said what a nice car! He looked very honest and trustable people and I thought he would help check and then get my things very easily. After an hour, I received a call from him and I was told that I needed to change a lot of things, the left rear tail lens, left stop light, right rear corner light, third brake lights etc. The car also has circuit problems that require maintenance. I asked him how much did I need to pay total if I want to get my certificate. He told me to collect $550. I felt very unbelievable after listening to this number. I just wanted to check it out and get my certificate. I decided to take the car back and look for other places to check. In the afternoon, I discussed the price with Sang and he said that I need to pay him $125 even though you didn't get your certificate. I felt that I have been cheated and entered a scram trap.
After that experience I did some research on line and finally I found another Auto repair shop. I got rear right light lens fixed and they charged me $190 and gave me a certificate (the price include the one light fix and certificate, I don’t have any circuit problem inside). $190 vs $550 auto repair fee, why should I send the money to a dishonest repair shop?
Please see my review before you come here for repair , don't be fooled like me. They will charge as much as they could and take the money out of your pocket.
