Best KPortal Reviews

Went different days and ordered different things. Sandwiches are good, can't go wrong with the combo or lemongrass chicken banh mi, or any of the best sellers.
The spring rolls come with 3 rolls and peanut sauce. I'm more a fan of the sugary vinegar lime sauce, so peanut sauce isn't the best for me.
Runs about $10 per item, plus tax.
You can also pick some chips and boba drinks if you want.
Cash and card (over $5) accepted.
Small banh mi and boba shop that gets a bunch of traffic during the weekday lunch hour, especially from the nearby high school students.
A coworker and I dropped by on a weekday around 12:45pm to grab banh mis and drinks. We managed to get in line before a wave of students joined but ended up waiting around 15 minutes for our order. The shop seemed to be run by two people, one person fully in the back, the other person jumping between taking orders and order prep. Alongside preparing in-person orders, they were also preparing online pre-orders, hence the wait.
I ordered the fresh spring rolls with lemongrass tofu, 3 for $8. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan. They use some sort of ginger flavoring with the tofu, and it was too strong for my taste. I ended up smothering the spring rolls in the peanut sauce to aid in my consumption. My coworkers enjoyed their orders though.
Card allowed!
Great banh mi shop where you can get sandwiches for $10. The lemongrass chicken had so much flavor—I wolfed it down.
There’s limited room to eat so we went to the park nearby.
Ordered the Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi and it was seriously delicious. In comparison to other sandwich places, the tofu had a sweeter marinade. Highly recommend that you eat it right after you receive it!! The bread was also nice and toasty. Also got the mango green iced tea which was not too sweet which I liked.
The pork banh mi was pretty good, as well as the Vietnamese iced coffee. I think the coffee was a little high in price ($7)
This opinion is only based on the boba. I came here by coincidence and ended up getting a kiwi ice tea with boba and one Vietnamese coffee. The kiwi ice tea had a weird taste, i couldn't really enjoy the kiwi, but the boba was good and chewy when I ate it. The coffee was good and strong. Overall the place is small and clean and have different options, the service is ok. I hope i can come back and try some of the sandwiches.
Overall good sandwich, what hit the home run is the banh mi(bread) itself. Nice and crusty. Also a lil buttery. Never had that before for a 'banh mi' sandwich. Been eating banh mi since I was a kid (I'm Vietnamese). Prices are much higher than in San Jose, then again it's SF. Pate is light and bland, aside from that, good sandwich.
I love the Lemongrass Tofu sandwich. Everything about the sandwich is right. The bread is perfectly toasted. The toppings all compliment each other balanced through out the sandwich. The tofu is really seasoned well in the Lemongrass and has a great texture.
I had a Vietnamese iced coffee that was very tasty and strong. The drink was creamy, sweet but alsob pleasantly bitter.
