Really good place to stop & get some refreshments if your out on Dartmoor, really friendly staff. I had a pasty & a pint which went down well whilst relaxing for a bit by the open fire. Great location & views to, we will definitely visit again if we're out this way again ????????
Definitely in my top 10 pubs. Such a lovely atmosphere, situated right on the west dart so ideal for a stop during a days fishing. Great local ales and super friendly staff. I can only imagine that both the rooms and food are fantastic but I am yet to sample either!
Fantastic Sunday lunch - excellent service, beautifully presented delicious food and very good value. Piano tinkering away in the background. A real treat, we couldn’t fault it!
Nice cozy place, lovely service, great food, amazing ambience, loved the working fire places. Collection of clocks is impressive and located between 2 functional bridges is quite a sight.
There Soup of day is quite popular, served with nice bread it's quite feast to palate.
Nice traditional country hotel. Liked the touch for doggies staying....complimentary, biscuits , bowl, ball and poo bags ! Rooms a bit pricey. Great surroundings!

It's a quaint, traditional place with a dog-friendly policy. The food is lovely and the lavatories are clean. Lots of parking outside. Lovely walking from all around the area
