As far as American seafood restaurants go, this was decent but not outstanding. I would say if you are already in the area, it’s a good place to eat with a nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here though. Shrimp and scallop napoli had a very good creamy sauce, but the sandwiches were less impressive. Buns were not well toasted, grouper was rubbery. Pretty standard American seafood place, if that is what you’re looking for!
This was our first time visiting this area and we chose this restaurant based on the reviews. So glad we did. The food was delicious. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I ordered the shrimp scampi and hubby ordered the jambalaya.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing experience! Went there on a recommendation from an acquaintance and so happy we did! We sat inside (they have outside seating) by the window. We ordered the lobster bisque and clam chowder soups. They were so thick and hearty. Delicious! Also got coconut shrimp with pineapple sauce. So yummy and crispy! Two people in our party ordered shrimp and scallop napoli, which was a special for the day, and I ordered the blackened mahi mahi sandwich. There were lots of shrimp and scallops in the pasta. It was very flavorful and plentiful. The blackened mahi mahi was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Literally the best mahi mahi I have ever had. Kudos to the chef. The staff was great. I wish I remembered our servers name because she was very thorough and kept checking on us. The view of the water and the boats coming in creates a very tranquil and beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be back on our next visit!
Enjoyed the outdoor deck dining the last two times we've been in town. Very good food. Table service a little slow at times but very friendly helpful staff.
Lovely outdoor setting overlooking Little Sarasota Bay & Jim Neville Wildlife Preserve. Delicious frozen cocktails, large selection of local beer & lobster bisque to die for! Try the avocado fries which are crunchy on outside & creamy inside. Salads & scallop casserole were delicious. Wait staff are friendly & attentive.
Great restaurant on the bay. It was pretty busy and the servers had a hard time keeping up with all the tables. But our food was delicious. Nothing special about their sides, but I had the Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection.
Atmosphere, Location & View were Fantastic!
Food was average, my Filet Mignon resembled no steak I have ever ordered or eaten. Small, Rectangular & Way Over Cooked for requesting Medium ???? Service was average. BUT THE VIEW ???? Oh, and the dessert named ice cream sandwich is a KLONDIKE BAR cut in half with some toppings for presentation ????????
It's a beautiful place with great views. A big drink menu that was reasonably priced. The food was good but overpriced for what we got. It was about the saddest grouper sandwich I've ever seen. It was very good, just looked like it might have been the last filet available so they pieced some together.
