Great atmosphere and excellent service for a small restaurant, but items inside need to be repaired.
The menudo looked a little different in appearance from other restaurants. The menudo had a different taste than normal. In fact, it had a fishy taste to it. Maybe my taste buds were off. There is too much fat in the bowl.
Someone please try it and tell me what you think.
This place made me feel very welcomed! It was my first time here and I'll definitely be back again. The very awesomely welcoming lady that assisted us on this early afternoon on 4/5/24 was the was fantastic and supplied us with every requested food and drinks. The food was good, my wife got the mucho macho burrito which was stupid good! The beers were reasonably priced, and they had the wall mounted boom box thing so you can choose a song of your liking.
I purchased a caldo de res and it was spoiled. I was able to taste the bitterness as I attempted to eat it. I am disappointed. It had happened once before but I gave the restaurant a second chance however I wasted my time. The rest of our order seems like it was just slapped together without any care. The torta had way to much mayo. I really dislike making bad reviews. I hope others have a better experience then I did.
Come here if you want authentic mexican food. Chips and salsa are delicious. Do u like enchiladas? If yes, try the chicken enchiladas tapatias.
Prices are very reasonable. Note that the place is pretty run down. You might want to order takeout.
The food was good but the atmosphere was very uninviting. Didn't feel welcome and the waitress was not pleasant and she never came back to see if our meal was OK or if we wanted a refill on our drink even though we were the only ones in the restaurant.
I have eaten here for 35 years now, i take people here all the time, and try to make it at least every couple of weeks you will find very tasty food, prepared fresh. Not everyone likes the edifice and ambiance, but it doesn’t register on me at all, i come for the food. You wont be disappointed with the food preparation and flavor.
I order Albondiga soup & chili relleno to go. Once I open the soup it smelled stale & had to throw away. The chili relleno had green sauce with pork meat will not be returning to this place again.
Best Mexican food in Corona. Tripa tacos are incredible. Green chilaquiles are perfect too. I never had a bad dish here.
