I can't rate this place any higher, the food is excellent, the service great and the little courtyard a gem...best on a week day as weekends are busy. The main shop sells fresh lunch time food, but doesn't really provide a breakfast menu, which I feel is missing a trick if you want to pull in the earlier custom, ,however, they offer toast and teacakes, excellent cakes and savouries...so you can make do!
What an absolutely amazing place in the centre of Ross. We've been visiting Ross for a few months but hadn't visited Truffles until this past weekend, and what a lovely hidden gem. You should try the half sandwich and soup it was delicious. The lady that served us was so friendly and helpful, thank you ????

Also offers GF cakes/goodies which are so tasty!
Only had coffee and cake , but the portions are huge and fresh made , the scones look amazing, and hidden courtyard is a must do ! Service was quick and very friendly as well , we will be back for lunch and a browse round the deli !
Nice independent cafe with a store inside. Had a chicken salad box which was reasonably priced and delicious.
Very nice place for catching up with very delicatessen menu, plus you can buy local products, spain, Italian, fantastic!!
Maybe I'm a little biased as I know someone who works here. However, that said, I've been coming here for longer than that situation. The food is good and well presented and they do a good Earl Grey. The staff are polite and, though you can eat inside, the courtyard is a nice place to sit. It can get very busy, a popular venue, but I was lucky and arrived at a slightly quieter moment.
Happy to recommend. Oh, and they do take-away food as well.
