We had pulled over to catch a nap, but because of backed up traffic on I - 40. And because my daughter & I were tired as hell, We ended up passing out until 6am.
If I could give this no stars, I would. Trashy, full of huge sink holes, no bathroom facilities, no trash cans, overgrown and no lights! The AR Highway and Transportation Department can do better! They want major tax dollars from diesel and gas but then don’t use the money. Where does the money go?! This dump doesn’t make Arkansas look very welcoming.
Convenient location, but the state of Arkansas needs to do some serious maintenance on this place.
Poorly lit but parking is free. Be careful of the pull in spaces. Driver for D Canober hit my trailer and when I spoke to him about it he played like he couldn't speak english.
Mountains of trash? Sure... No phoop spots? Yes. Nothing to tell your best buddy in private where you parked? Yesss.
Arkon' Ars is exactly the rear end of all of the states. Beats nj, ny, ma... I don't really know why this is even called a Truck Parking area.. I wouldn't let me enemy sleep here with whom I have a to the dea... Duel.
This is a downgrade even from an off ramp.
Three stars not for the parking area but for all the thrash thrown out by drivers.
Flat parking spots, on the smaller size and usually packed. Good for taking a break or even spending a night in a pinch since there's no facilities I try not to sleep there if I can find parking at the rest are just before or one of the truck stops in West Memphis.
Stop to do driver change.
Arkansas isn't very truck friendly. Any parking space is a good one in this state.
