The first person of contact (skinny black guy) is very rude very nasty and doesn’t have any compassion. Also, this place can change the price any given time please ask for pricing because they display one price and then they ring you up for another if you don’t check your receipt so once time I asked about the oxtail dinner, and it was more than what it said on the menu. And then he pointed out a very, very small, fine print, saying prices are subject to change it anytime this is very misleading and not a company that I for the people they seem like they are all the money. He doesn’t even seem like he likes Black people at all unless they are Jamaican. The oxtails wer more like “FAT TAILS” and not very seasoned. They are over priced.
This is my second time eating from here. The food and service is amazing. My babe and I love the food because it’s always fresh and delicious! The owner Samantha is so nice and kind. She has a great staff that is friendly and knows how to get the job done! The atmosphere is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fresh and tasty Jamaican food. Keep up the great work Team! I will be back, Thanks Mars????????????????????????
I haven’t been here in 4 or 5 yrs. I picked up a large jerk chicken rice and peas/cabbage. Coco bread and spicy beef patties. The food good. The rice and cabbage seemed a bit watery. The spicy beef patties were hot and delicious.

I’ve tried many different dishes but my two favorites meals are the Oxtail, and Ackee & Saltfish.
My husband and I have been eating here since 2012, and have never been dissatisfied. His favorite dish, Jerk Chicken dinner with rice and peas and cabbage.
I will never go anywhere else and buy Jamaican food. Go Tropicana Eatery!
Very nice place and looks clean but I felt not wanted. I stood there for a good 5 minutes and was ignored only for them to attend another person. Definitely won't be spending my $ here anymore. I felt discriminated against since I was not attended or asked anything at all. I stood there like a lamppost.
Ordered a combo plate with curry goat and oxtail. It was good, had flavor. Not enough vegetables, but not a bad deal.
Ordered the curry chicken, and it too had flavor and a bit of spiciness. Stingy with the veggies again, but it's not a bad deal.
I also ordered a small jerk chicken plate. It wasn't good at all, just hot (spicy). They missed the mark with flavor with this dish and again barely any vegetables. Just big cuts of spicy chicken swimming in way too much spicy sauce.
Food does not taste authentic. I ordered the Curry Chicken and it was very dry. Had the worst customer experience at this location. Ordered a meal over the phone. Not only did they forget my food items, they refused to give me the food that I ordered that was not in the bag. They stated they would have to look at camera footage just to prove that they gave me my food. I should have known better to trust this place. This hole in a wall is NOT that place to visit! Stay away! McDonalds give better customer service than this place!
The food quality is undoubtedly deserving of 5 stars. SO-.. let's shift the focus to the establishment itself. My inaugural dining experience here was just yesterday, and I must commend the staff for their exceptional professionalism and friendliness. The overall ambiance exudes authenticity, but what truly impressed me was the restroom. Immaculately CLEAN✅✅, the Smell (not only did it not smell bad, IT SMELLED AMAZING✅✅✅. (The fact that it's kept locked and requires a key is a clear indication of the commitment to cleanliness.) I believe you can gauge a lot about people or a business by the condition of their facilities, and believe me, I'm not easily impressed. Overall, it's an outstanding dining locale—definitely a MUST-TRY for anyone who appreciates this cuisine.
