This Hendrics location is awesome! The food came out quick and fresh, and the Bahama Mama smoothie refreshing and blended perfectly! We especially loved the front porch sitting era it had a very tropical vibe an was a nice era to sit an eat your food.
Sad Caesar salad. I had to add my own greens. I’m not sure how they sell this as an entree at all considering that it has zero substance. Flatbread was a similar experience with barely any filling or taste. Smoothies are acceptable for what they are but overpriced if you order them through a third party app. I’ve been to other locations and haven’t been so disappointed in the food.
I'm very disappointed.. Terrible, just awful customer service, we walked in yesterday evening and wasn't greeted or acknowledged... Noticed that the young guy with dreads was to busy with his back turned watching his phone and carrying on a conversation with another employee...We we're the only customer's inside. It's common courtesy to say hello what can I get for you. Also upon leaving it's okay to say have a good night.. Before hiring, I suggest making sure people know basic customer service skills. ( BASIC)????
If I could give this location a negative I would. I visit this establishment every Friday and unfortunately, most often have an unpleasant encounter with one of your cashiers Rachel. She is always extremely rude and lacks basic customer service skills. Her greetings are forced and unwelcoming. On today I walked out and she rolled her eyes.
As someone who values good service and believes in treating customers with respect, I was deeply disappointed by this experience. It left a negative impression on me and I will never return to this location and be sure to share my experience with whom I know.
I understand that everyone has their bad days, but it's important for employees to maintain professionalism and uphold the standards of customer service, regardless of their personal feelings or circumstances.
I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the customer experience at your establishment.
Place sucks. I came in as couple ahead of me was finishing. 3 people that came after me got their 3 smoothies so I asked politely and quietly at the counter why my wait was so long. The female worker starts explaining to me while the male worker starts throwing out attitude trying to talk over her so that he can make sure I know he got attitude for me. Then continues throwing me attitude until I get my drink and leave the store.
On top of that, the female worker’s explanation is a bold face lie. She says the reason I had to wait longer was because I got Stevia instead of turbinado and it takes longer to blend. Common sense: if a blender has blended well enough to liquify strawberries, it has blended long enough to liquify dissolvable Stevia. You bold face liars.
$8 smoothie with loud attitude not worth it. Just trrrible. Smoothie King only from here on out.
I come in and order my food and everything is fine until I noticed that a elderly white lady never got her order. Then the black girl (darker one) proceed to yell at the male employee with a lot of hair. She was talking down on him for not having her order and asking why it wasn’t made. The man proceeded to reply and tell her that she is the one pulling tickets and recalls a time she didn’t something wrong. I can agree on one thing, she is the one indeed pulling the tickets which may give order confusion. I literally have a sticker on my drink that says Samantha and it’s for a Bahama mama. And I’ll tell you two things, my name ain’t Samantha nor did a order a bahama mama????. And I’m not fund of the talking down on coworkers. I love this location and would like to see those negative interactions being discussed and worked out in the back and not in front of the store in front of everyone. Yall are a team so if one person look like they can’t do they job they all yall look like that.
I wish I could give it 5 stars cus they are so nice and the food itself is tasty. But it’s never made right! Do you see how pale the inside of this Caribbean JERK chicken wrap is? There is no jerk sauce in this. It’s always like this, or if they do put sauce they overload it and make it unbearable to eat. At this point y’all should just give people a small side container with the sauce so we can actually enjoy this wrap.
I definitely love the atmosphere of this Tropical Smoothie Location. They have a patio area with a few games that overlook Hendricks street. I see this being a great place to have a group meeting or meet and hang out on a nice summer day. Of course my favorite part about them are the delicious smoothies! It’s definitely worth it to come to this location if you want to enjoy a little date or spend times with friends
