Does this place need a GM? Because if it does it shows. Just saying if your employees are sitting out in the back smoking weed and vaping I just think something needs to change I guess this is one way to get paid
We ordered the mango ???? magic smoothie ???? with Splenda. It was so good! It wasn't overly sweet like most smoothie places. You could tell it's fresh without all the extra ingredients. Just fresh, yummy fruit. The staff was so friendly ☺️.
Tropical smoothie is so hit or miss. I’m giving 3 ⭐️ because when their smoothies are good they are really good but honestly this was a 2 or 1 ⭐️ day. If I’m paying $9 for a smoothie, the same price as a super filling meal from somewhere like costa Vida, I expect it to be made well and taste like it’s advertised. I purchased 2 smoothies today: the peanut butter paradise (I believe) and the chia banana boost. I’ve had both of these before and they’ve tasted so much better but the chia banana boost tasted super watered down and like it didn’t have many of the items in it and the peanut butter one didn’t taste like it had any of the main ingredients either and tasted super protein powdery. Not impressed and definitely not worth the $18 spent. Like I said I’ve had the same smoothies made so much better in the past so I know what I’m missing out on. Also just in general tropical smoothie takes longer to get your food items out than it seems it should. I never go there when there’s a line because I know it would take a very long time to get my food.
Our smoothies were lacking flavor. My Bahama Mama had very little strawberry or pineapple flavor, it was like drinking water with a hint of strawberry. My husband's banana Chai was missing banana taste.
Our food was OK. One of the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there though
We recently discovered Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Las Vegas and decided to try this location. I'm starting to prefer their smoothies over their more mainstream, well-known competition, and they have surprisingly good food options; sandwiches and such. The biggest downside during our last visit was the order accuracy. Out of the 4 of us getting smoothies and sandwiches, I'd say a solid 50% of our order was incorrect. None of us are picky enough to have brought it to the staff's attention, but it seemed rather odd that so much of our order would be incorrect. The staff consisted of a handful of friendly, chatty teenagers with no clear leadership present; not saying that's a pro or a con, just an observation.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I dropped two of my smoothies right in front of the door on my way out T_T , but they were quick to help me clean up and re-made both smoothies for free. Nevi and Syd, you guys were heroes today! They did forget the bacon on my mango bacon brie flatbread, though, which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
Absolutely love their casadillas, flatbreads, and smoothies. Delicious every time!
We love the Island green smoothie. Every time we are in town we come to get one, which is actually 2 because my hubby & I both get one. This time our smoothies came out very flat and tasteless. We both treated them several times and we agreed it wasn’t like they usually make them.
So I went back in and asked them to make them again. The sweet gal working at the counter made new ones and they tasted MUCH better!
Very happy I went back in and they turned out very tasty like usual!!!
