I will say this place hands down, has the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Like I don’t even like fried chicken like that but I’m hooked now! Fresh and seasoned to perfection! Gotta love the over sized potato wedges too!
They serve chicken, among other foods. So the location is in a reasonably convenient spot and parking is alright. The inside is kind of like a convenience store that sells fried chicken. They have a large selection of cold drinks in gas-station style coolers. You will find something to drink, I promise you. The menu is easy to understand and clearly labeled. They offer a lot of things, but they have to actually have them on hand for you to purchase it. Staff is fine. We ordered a mixed 6pc for the each of us. Got home and started to eat. I did not enjoy my food. The top layer of the breast meat was like leather. Though the rest of it was okay. So it was clearly burnt, tough, like jerky. The drumsticks were a lot better. Thighs/wings were okay.
Where I really enjoyed the food was when I air fried the leftovers. The skin was made much more crispy and the spices really stuck out. The refried drumsticks were actually really good. But I can't forgive the breasts being mostly inedible. If my food was properly cooked then I can see this being a great spot to get some fried chicken and other fixins. But I only really enjoyed my food after I stuck it in the air fryer. Not the place for me.
Ordered 50 piece chicken over the phone and they called me when it was ready. Great spice and flavor and not too salty. Crunchy and juicy chicken served fresh and not old. Service was good but it would be nice to have another register to get the lines moving a little quicker.
If you're ever asked, "I want some good fried chicken that's reasonably priced..." Here is your answer. The tenders beat Cane's everyday.
Usually good, but tonight, 11/30/2023 the food was OFF. The rice AND chicken batter had an off mildewy smell and taste. First time that I turned down their chicken and rice, probably will never try it again since that odor/taste turned me completely off.
This is the BEST CHICKEN ever! The prices are outstanding. The chicken is always perfect. This is a must if you have not had their chicken yet.
I ordered a fried pig tail for the first time EVER!!! The first one was DELICIOUS. We ordered three the next day and it was FUNKY AND NASTY ... it was fried beautifully but it had a awful smell to it .. we couldn't eat it. The chicken and potato logs were delicious though
The wait be too long for such an active blue store and sometimes they be frying the chicken too long the chicken be dry and hard sometimes . This Blue store needs to Remember when the chicken floats it’s ready. The counter could be cleaner and the waiting areas and doors need be cleaned with Bleach.
