Best KPortal Reviews

Very good juicy burger, fries were extra hot and crispy, server was attentive, friendly, and professional. It looks like place was recently renovated, it has a stage and dance floor, very nice stage background. All in all , place is pleasing to an eye, kinda of mix of rustic/modern style decor and is attracting to various crowd. Place is family owned , owners were working along the staff all night and were very friendly. The night we went there , they had live music, local band Against the Grain. It was pretty darn good!!
The food is excellent as is the service provided by the entire team. I would highly recommend trying the nachos as an appetizer followed up by the Cowboy stuffed burger with brisket on top. Also, make sure and ask for some fry sauce.
In the past two months I visited Triple Js twice and never left disappointed or hungry. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.
Update one year later…. Food is still amazing; best burgers in Alaska! Must try the new location in Wasilla.
We went in during their "soft" opening. You know, the time when you figure out the kinks before the Grand opening.
It was my birthday and we met some friends there.
I had the House Dip. A delicious brisket French dip. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The bread they used was a perfect match and soft but didn't fall apart in your hands. The Aus jus? Nailed It!
My husband had the stuffed mushroom bacon burger. The flavor was spot on.
They didn't have an ingredient that we needed for our cocktails so they went out and bought it on the spot!!!
We had the pleasure of Jessica, a co-owner, joining us and sharing her preparation process for the smoked meat. It was fascinating listening to her and the passion she exudes for what she does is blatantly apparent.
She described the plans for next summer with a nice dock and bandstand.
These guys have big plans for this place and I can't wait to see them come to fruition!
Then, as we were finishing our meal, Jessica came out with her homemade hot apple walnut pie, served on a sizzling hot plate and topped with vanilla ice cream!
After the Happy Birthday song she handed us extra utensils and we all dug in, savoring every scrumptious bite!
The wait for our orders was a bit long and there was some initial confusion (as is to be expected with soft openings) but they got it ironed out and, after being in the service industry for 15+ years, I really want to see this place succeed.
I've practically interrogated every friend who has been there and none have had a bad experience yet. Looking forward to the Grand Opening and having a local quality restaurant with owners who listen to feedback from the community.
The best Burger in town if you wanna great Burger no lie this is it it is worth the drive it is worth it all they have completely turned this business around it is not what u remember I suggest this place as a date as a great night out for friends for family I urge you to give this place another try if you don't you will be missing out
I ordered the Cowboy burger which has a juicy burger, smoked brisket, grilled onions and cheese. My husband had a mushroom swiss burger. Fried pickles and beer rounded out our meal. The bonus was the live music!
I have eaten here many times over the years. Over this past year though, the owners have put their hear sand souls into making this a great place to eat. It is clean, and comfortable. They never fail to please. The burgers are amazing! The apple pie is incredible! I have never had a bad meal. I have been very comfortable with my family here. It is clean and the owners work very hard, every time, to make sure we are taken care of. When in the area, I highly recommend it.
This place had great service, delicious food. The cheese curds are bomb, anything with pulled pork on it is amazing. Wife's mushroom burger was awesome. They don't sell alcohol but they have a petition for the bureau to grant them a license, so that may be another plus soon.
Definitely give this place a try!
The atmosphere was lively and the service was impeccable. The kids both got and loved the bacon grilled cheese, husband got the spicy chicken waffles, and I got an incredible burger. We got there late in the evening and they ran out of brisket (so make sure to get there early). We managed to get the last one said brisket òn our nachos. I can't wait to go back earlier and try their other foods! Absolutely recommend!!
