Order was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes, but it took 2 hours after a phone call. The pizza was not good, the dough was undercooked, and it seemed to be soaked in oil. It was impossible to eat. I do not recommend it.
I went on Easter Monday on 1st April 2024 and Tuesday 2nd April 2024 and I bought large haddock & medium chips and it was delicious.
I routinely get food from here as a treat and I have never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious and always arrives on time! I’d recommend to anybody in the area looking for a good portion of fish & chips!
Been this places many times staff always very help full and they do indian curry and biryani and pizza is best in town definitely come back
I've just no idea where to start.
This has had new owners, so we thought we would give it a go.
I commented on how the menu looked extensive with plenty to choose from and all at reasonable cost.
Upon arrival, there was a big queue, and I could hear phone orders coming in. It was clear that they were busy. There were customers who had been waiting for some time, who seemed slightly fed up, but I was quite happy to people watch and view the food that was being served. Also, if it is this busy, then the food must be amazing!!
HOW WRONG WAS I.
I was handed my food and was really looking forward to getting home. As I unwrapped my LARGE chip butty, I was shocked as to how small it was, and I wished I'd have photographed it. There were no full chips, just bits. The fish looked like a large battered sausage, and the gravy and curry sauce were jellified and wouldn't pour out of the cup. It clearly wasn't edible.
I picked up a menu on my way out, but I can guarantee that I WILL NOT be returning. If I hadn't had the day that I'd had, I'd have taken the whole lot back and asked for a refund.
Chips small sausage and curry sauce with a can was £6. Was a nice starter .
Disgusting service. Asked for the kebab meat fresh and not out of the heated tank and the lovely English lady said yes. The typical takeaway worker, moaned at her infront of us like we had spat on. Will not come here again. Food was horrendous. Hats off to the lovely lady that served us for her customer service but nothing good can be said about anything else.
Awful service. The lady was lovely but the men that worked there were argumentative with the English staff. Food was freezing cold, poor quality and dry. I would rather spend hours chewing on a flip flop than ever experience seek dining like this again. Thumbs down.
