My grandson came to my house almost in tears after his haircut today! Don’t know who did it but they did a HORRIBLE JOB! Of all places I got him into Great Clips to help with the mess that he was left with. That’s when he told me she was going to trim his (16 years old) eyebrows, as she was feeling generous!! At Great Clips they put the slashes to try and hide what a again HORRIBLE JOB was done yet again. I’ve been there before for hair cuts I don’t believe I will again.
Felt like my business wasn’t important. Walked in and made an appointment. When I showed for my appointment she was still working on someone else. I had to leave because I had a funeral. Made a different appointment. When I showed, she stated she wasn’t ready. She was coloring someones hair and stated I’d have to wait. I decided to leave. I was disappointed and will not attempt another appointment.
Kelly is awesome and she does exactly what you ask for. I had the same barber for over 20years and did not think I would find another skilled one. Ray Barker started his Locksmith Hairstyling in Newton many years ago then sold and moved to dsm after he passed I tried a couple stylists who were no comparison to him and then I found Kelly. If you want a precision haircut from someone who also understands texturing she is the one.!!
Not only is this place super reasonably priced and welcoming, but usually it takes 3 hours to do a cut color on my hair (I have places to be and thick hair). Took an hour off my average time and my hair is beautiful! Exactly what I wanted ♥️ Absolutely wonderful place! Will be back!
I've been going here for as long as I can remember. Always been fantastic! Owner cuts my hair and I have never been treated like one of the other reviewers claimed. I don't want to call her a liar but... something seems amiss.
Kelly has been doing my hair ever since i was little little, she always does such a great job. I live the atmosphere there!
I had the worst experience at this salon. Not only did the owner yell at me for being 5 minutes late but she continued to berate me while doing my hair. I have never had this kind of experience before in all of my life at a salon. I was in tears by the time I left. I asked her if she could please stop pulling on my hair out of anger and she continued. She is the owner and this is what confused me even more. She wasn't just having a bad day and taking it out on me but she obviously needs to get psychological help.
