Had them check out my car for a transmission light nothing else, they told me diagnostic was free and I made it 100% clear not to do anything else on the car. 3 days later I get a call saying that the cleared the light and drove it for 20 mins and it didn’t come back on, why didn’t they put a scanner on it ? Beats me and they without asking fixed my exhaust rattle and wanted to charge me 124$. Why I asked why they did that without asking I got screamed at and told never to come back, all I did was ask, I never said I wasn’t going to pay it, never got upset, and didn’t do anything to deserve the treatment I was getting. They thought I was someone they can take advantage of and got upset when they realized i wasn’t a push over. I don’t understand what when wrong but I do know what thing I would never come back here even if they welcomed me. And to top it all off the transmission light came back on 5 mins after leaving the shop.

Butch is a straight shooting honest guy. I was referred to Transmission Central by another great shop, Stillys. Between the 2 places you cant go wrong. Central for Transmissions. Stilly for everything else. Update. Had both my vehicles transmissions serviced here. Butch saved me a lot of money. Me and my wife are very happy with that.
Butch is the best!! My car needed a new transmission less than a week before I started a new job. I was so bummed thinking I would have to get an expensive rental to get myself there. I voiced my concerns to Butch and he took care of it within a couple of days! Extremely reasonable pricing and could not have hoped for better service. Butch and the guys are amazing! Had my truck towed there Tues afternoon of Thanksgiving week, had it back Friday after a complete overhaul including replacing the broken case. Nobody does it better, highly recommended!!!!
I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra that had a rusted rear differential cover and was referred here by another shop because they had repaired this problem before. They removed the axles and differential, and cut out the rusted cover and welded a brand new cover on and replaced the rusty U bolts for a reasonable cost and it came out great! I have also recently talked to some local friends who are mechanics that said that Butch does great work here on transmissions and other repairs like the one on my truck.
This is one of the best transmission shops in the area! The charge for getting a 5 speed rebuilt was very reasonable. The head mechanic is very knowledgeable and prompt. I highly recommend doing business here!
