Best KPortal Reviews

Absolutely the best place to grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends. That Blu cheese burger was probably the best thing I have ever eaten. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. They have everything from fast greasy burgers, to healthy rice bowls. Stop by if in the area.
Wanted to try something new and found this spot in Ashland. It’s right next to the train tracks so pretty cool set up. Service was good I sat at the bar and had a old fashioned. I asked the bar tender what was better between two bowls on the menu and he told me they were out of sauce for one so I went with the Teriyaki chicken bowl. The bowl looked great however the red peppers were cold and the rice had so much butter in it that all I could really tasted was the butter. Service and atmosphere made up for the food.
We had a cheese burger w/fries, chicken tenders and a chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. All very good.
Service was quick, friendly and efficient.
Restaurant was clean and noise levels were low. Toilets were clean. Plenty of street parking available. Train tracks right outside so you can watch trains rolling past every now and then.
Definitely recommended.
Had a cheeseburger and onion rings. Both very good.
People with me had chicken tenders and a chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. All got a big thumbs up.
Service was quick, efficient and friendly.
The restaurant was clean and relatively busy. Toilets were clean.
They had booths and high chairs. Both good for families.
Train tracks are right outside so you can see trains going past every once in a while.
Overall, good and I'd definitely return here.
Our server, Michelle, was very kind, attentive, and easy to grab when we needed anything. We came on a Friday evening and were sat right away. Our table was sticky, and had a fly that lingered throughout the meal. The draft beers they had available were IPAs, some IPAs, and another few IPAs. Wished they had more variety in that department. Judging from previous reviews and also the whole 3/4 of a burger I saw left on someone's plate after they had departed, I summized that we shouldn't go for those. We ultimately decided to go for the protein bowls. We ordered a chicken teriyaki and a greek bowl. They each came out very hot, but neither of us were able to put a dent in the amount of rice that was served with the toppings. I found the presentation of my bowl to be a bit odd, as the pineapples were obviously canned and presented whole, while the chicken was diced very small. This created an imbalance as I had to cut my own pineapple when I wish it was diced and the chicken was left more intact. The mens restroom was on-par with a truck stop bathroom. The menu had several typos and grammatical errors that I found lowered the expectations before we even ordered. Overall this place has a lot of potential, but they were lacking in some key elements of a successful execution.
Upon arrival we were told there would be a thirty minute wait for a table since we were a party of 7 and they only had one table big enough to accommodate us. Which was fine. Once we were brought to the table the waitress was still cleaning the table and we notice an enormous amount of water under our table and in the chairs. When we asked about it she said she dropped a glass, never bothered to mop it up. There was water and food all in our chairs. We sat down and waited at least 20 minutes to get a menu and even longer for a waitress to take our drink order. My son wanted sweet tea and was brought unsweet tea. We let the waitress know and she brought him another sweet tea which again was unsweet. When we said something again she said they are out of sugar. We asked to have our order taken and she told us she couldn’t take our order right now cause she was busy. We finally ordered our food, I ordered the Greek chicken rice bowl. Since they were out of avocado this was my second choice. Once we finally received our food it was literally a bowl of uncooked rice, two small strips of chicken, six cherry tomatoes, no feta cheese as advertised , it was very dry most of the rice was still crunchy, and had no flavor at all. My son ordered a cheese burger and it was equivalent to charcoal. Waitress was very rude. I would definitely consider another restaurant as for my friends and family will never return. Also, so many flies everywhere.
Used to be our go to restaurant in town, but in the past year in has completely changed. Table was so sticky we wiped it down ourselves w/ our water and napkins. Food took an incredibly long time to come out. I had fries as my side and was given a tiny pile of hard fry bits, like what you find at the bottom of a bag. After asking if this was the normal portion (knowing it’s not because again, we frequent this restaurant often) I was told they were out of fries and my portion was all they had left. It was so loud you could barely talk amongst the table, but that could be fixed with lower music and noise dampening panels. Our server was a very nice and hard working young man, but was not given any support to do his job well.
Our entire dining experience was actually so chaotic that we were not charged for the entire meal. We did not request this at all, and it was a very nice thing for them to do. We previously enjoyed this restaurant and would like to see it return to that once amazing state. Will try again in a few months :(
We met friends here for dinner during the week. Place was pretty empty but couldn't be seated until my wife got there, she was running late. Were seated promptly when she arrived. Place looked pretty nice since the last time I came here which was years ago. Looks to have been redone and the name is changed to Trackside Kitchen and Wine. Waitress got our drinks and since the menu was totally changed we took awhile to check it out. They have some pretty good food listed but to be honest it's like dressed up bar food at dressed up prices. Luckily we were not in a hurry because we were catching up with our friends cause the food took FOREVER to get to us though it was hot when it came out. Everybody said their food was pretty good but my spicy chicken sandwich was pretty average. The service was pretty tenative after we got our food Overall it's an OK place but not I probably won't return.
