Virgil and his crew are absolutely brilliant mechanics. I truly believe they could fix any problem. I have taken my 1989 Toyota pickup to them 3 times now, and they have done a perfect job every time. They repaired the EGR system when Chk Eng light came on, fixed the throttle position sensor when truck was running rough, and installed new timing chain set. Virgil knows Toyotas inside and out, 30+ yrs of experience, and you will not find a more honest, hardworking and knowledgeable guy. He's a nice guy to talk to too. Do yourself a favor, go here. You won't regret it
My go to mechanic when I'm in downtown LA. Price is very reasonable and the service is great. Vergil is very professional and he will educate you on how to keep your car going. Check them out it's easy to find.

I brought my Jeep in, even though it's not a Toyota...and Virgil and the whole team were super helpful! My car wouldn't start and I thought it was the alternator but luckily they thouroughly checked my battery and everything and found out it was the wiring. They replaced my electrical system for my battery and it looked so much better! The old wires were fraying and barely looked like they were holding on. The new wires are wrapped neatly and have brand new hardware secured to the battery. They also changed my front brakes and flushed my brake fluid system. 10/10 customer service and care. These guys care about you and your car, not just your money. If you're looking for a fix, this is the place!
I've known Virgil since ages and this guy is the real deal. Nothing gets out of this shop unresolved.. that includes any brand including the flat six Porsche motors to souped up 2JZGTE's.. and of course the 3SGTE's. Quality shop with reasonable prices. Stock or modified, whatever you want...
Had an issue where my car alarm was going off at random times (day & night) which was a major issue for my neighbors. My mechanic couldn’t figure it out and told me to see a key/alarm shop. After 3 weeks of effort and $$$$ they still couldn’t figure it out either. Took to Virgil and within three days he had it solved and it hasn’t been an issue since. He was beyond thorough and very transparent about where he was in the repair! Fair prices and amazing service. It’s great to know I don’t have to look any further for a mechanic!
Sadly, I had to change my review. I used to like this place. I used to trust this place. I don’t know what happened and I did try to work it out with the owner before I posted this review Does anyone know any fuel injector cleaner that costs $89 per bottle? Isn’t the solution supposed to be included in the fuel injector service $680? Here is a picture of my invoice. I asked him several times to clarify why he charged me $89 for a bottle that costs $18! Online. He also says that it’s a special professional formula that the public cannot get. I called the company that sells the bottles, and they said they do not sell any fuel injector cleaner solution privately to mechanics Total was $680 for fuel injector service PLUS the liquid at $89.00. Super shady. I won’t be back. I’d rather be ripped off at the dealer. The prices here are about 15% more than at dealer.
