Been going to the salon for over a year now for my teenager’s hair. Kila is wonderful and supportive, responsive to our needs. The girl’s hair looks beautiful every time after kila’s treatment, and she also teaches her how to take care of the hair. We were recommended to come here by one of her classmates and very happy with our decision so far. We scheduled our first appointment by stopping in in person. After that we mostly communicate by text and phone, no issue with communication.

Called and spoke with Kila and told her what services I was in need of. After Kila agreed that she could perform these services, she stated she was doing an estimate on a client and asked if she could call me back in a few moments. I waited 6 hours for a call back. I then called the shop back and a younger girl answered the phone saying Kila was not in. The girl said she would call Kila right away and that Kila would call me back in a few moments. Of course no call back. Someone recommended this salon to me. Now I will not be going there and neither will the girl that recommended me. Awful customer service.
Keyla is amazing at what she does. My Loc's look and feel beautiful. She specializes in all hair types and can do any style. Her aura and energy are amazing!!! I wish I could give her 10 stars!!!
I have been a Total Essence client for over ten years. I had recently moved back from EL Salvador for my brother’s funeral when I was first introduced to this establishment, and Kila (owner) took me as a walk-in no questions asked...and 13 years later I am still a loyal client. I am not only a loyal client because of the way I was taken care of and the professionalism I was shown, but also because my hair has never been healthier. If you care about your hair, and want it to grow...Total Essence is the answer...and to all my Puerto Rican’s or Latinos...Total Essence is the answer...and red headed caucasians (my mother) Total Essence is also your place ...❤️
One the lady doing a good job my hair but I have the issue of the employee on their phone 6 hours straight while doing my hair. I didn't pay u guys to be on phone get my hair did. I pay $180 to do my hair.
Please take your money elsewhere! By far hands-down one of the most unprofessional places I’ve ever seen! Everything is last minute and so OFF schedule…. I am very surprised that they are still in business! It is not worth your time or experience don’t waste your energy! If anyone sees this don’t do it!! Lol! Weak af
My favorite beautician is here. Keyla makes you feel like family. Whenever I come home I go to Total Essence to feel pampered!
