Michelle was our waitress. She was amazing and also took really good care of us. I was surprised because I expected the food to be greasy but actually not. My wrap tasted like a home made wrap. I ordered grilled veggies as my side dish and it really tasted super good.
As long as you aren't belligerently drunk when you're here, (and honestly even if you are) it should be a fantastic time. This is probably THE bar to go to when you're in Blacksburg. I will say though, the line is easily the worst part of the night.
The food was really good, I tried the coleslaw but I sadly don't like coleslaw. I enjoyed the pulled chicken sammich with the Kansas city BBQ sauce, the pit BBQ sauce was a seconded favorite as well. Reminds me of good old grandpa bbq.
Came down to Blacksburg for the day and got my BBQ fix at Bottom of the Stairs. Great food, service and perfect day to sit out and enjoy the perfect Blacksburg weather! Would highly recommend.
Same DJ playing same songs for years now; are they even trying? The line outside will have people acting like animals. The bartenders and doormen can be excessively rude.
their drinks are a little bit overpriced and they have a cover fee for the bar after a certain time that can be kinda crazy for the price. but you have to come here for the flag picture at least once in your lifetime. that is all
I think it is one of the most happening places in Blacksburg with so-so music, a good space and seating. It has a small dance floor mostly crammed with people. Best for after party drinks and hangouts.
Overrated, not worth the line at all. The staff is also very rude as well.
