This was my first time trying TooJays. We went for breakfast. I got the breakfast sandwich which was MASSIVE. I could hardly get a full bite of everything I’m at once. The bagel was super fresh and so was the ingredients on it. The fruit was fresh. It’s quiet in the morning which was very relaxing. Our server was awesome. She was very attentive to our needs. Really solid breakfast.
This was a favorite local chain of mine years ago when I was living in WPB. Couldn’t pass up a chance to rekindle some fond taste bud memories. I wasn’t disappointed. Lunchtime so staffing was slim but everyone was hustling, especially Joel. Great place for a delicious lunch.
Just the authentic deli experience we were craving. Matzo ball soup with oniony, carroty broth filled with chicken chunks and parsley, and a perfect fluffy matzo ball to boot. Chopped liver like Oma used to make, served on fresh caraway rye brought back so many good memories. And then there’s the bakery!!! Rugelach in apricot, raspberry, chocolate, and cinnamon raisin, plus toms of amazing cakes. Our server, Joel, and the bakery counter staff went out of their way to make our experience match the perfect food. Wish we lived here so this could be our regular spot!
Great place for breakfast, they have something for everyone. And their portion sizes are a great deal for the price. Waitress was really nice as well. I got the nova avocado toast, and it was amazing, of course. Can’t go wrong with that
This was the first time I tried this restaurant and I was so impressed. The breakfast was delicious and the service great. They had the best fried potato pancakes. The bagels were also fresh and delicious. The prices were very reasonable compared to other breakfast spots.
First time at a toojays restaurant and takeout.
Staff friendly
The food was well displayed
Large portions eat in or take home options
Carry specialty root beer as well as Pepsi canned products
Would recommend dining in clean bright seating area
Absolutely delicious! My husband and I both got the PASTRAMI BENEDICT with the peach iced tea and we are definitely going back.
Very good experience here. Food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. They were a bit short staffed in the Waite staff, but Joel made up for it by being very attentive to his area (not just our table - there were 6 of us) and made up for the wait time by keeping us up on the progress of our food and by being extremely personable and friendly. He definitely saved the day for us and for TooJay's. They have a definite asset in him.
