It’s been several years since I have been here. The food used to be good and it has changed quite a bit, The meatball sub had no meatballs on it!! It was basically sloppy Joe mix! The atmosphere is the only thing that hasn’t changed and in which it should as it had not been updated since the early 90s the service was also not to par as we ordered side salads and we never got them, also the server never filled up my drink, Tony’s had so many misses this last visit but I guess I will always have the memories as a kid enjoying Fridays nights eating pizza and picking songs from the jukebox they use to have, I will keep those memories and not return to Tony’s
Was recommended to this place by a local. Asked if I enjoyed a good meatball sandwich. Absolutely! Homemade roll. Amazing taste and flavor. Everyone on it included mustard, mayo, and ketchup. Absolutely tasty and reasonable price. Very impressed!
Good love the sauce and toppings and liked the crispy chared crust. The meatloaf sandwich is good but needs way more meatballs and the pastrami
needs more pastrami but it is good too. Make sure u say no ketchup on both sandwiches. BTW it makes for great leftovers too.
Five stars forever. Tony's is a family tradition and some of my earliest memories are from their waiting room. Literally never had a bad experience here. Order your pizza with pepperoni and green olives ????
I live out of state now but visited family this weekend and was so happy to go to Tony's again
Tony's Pizza located at 403 39th Street in Ogden was the first restaurant style pizza I have ever had. That was more than a few years back. It was my favorite and I'll just say some decades later it still is. Tony's is a bit on the smaller size and is one of the few dine in pizza places that still remain. The atmosphere is cozy but it can get quite noisy at times. Some of the other items offered there include salads, breads and several types of sandwiches. They also offer take out, which can be either cooked or uncooked. This last time we opted for simple uncooked pepperoni pizza. If you need the correct directions for cooking their pizzas you can almost always find them with your order. There has only been one small issue with the pizzas we have ordered. They do tend to be a bit too greasy for my liking. This of course is a simple fix by dabbing it with a napkin or paper towel. Tony's Pizza is one of the very few places I am comfortable ordering from. If someone is in the mood for pizza I think this is an excellent and affordable choice.
We used to get Tony's all the time when I was a kid & teenager. Then we moved away & it's been 30 years since I've had it! Was so excited the other day when I was in town close by & I got to introduce Tony's pizza to MY teenager for the first time. I was worried it might have changed in 30 years...but I bit into that same amazing crust & toppings & I was in heaven! My son was in love, too!So glad some of the best things stay the same! Thank you, Tony's for staying consistently WONDERFUL!????????????
The pizza in this place is tasty and the place looks good and clean however the service was only ok. My mother in-law asked to be seating somewhere else and the guy quickly told her that there were not other table for 5 people available. He did not even look and there were so many other tables that could be for 5 people. The garlic bread is actually very good and the price was good too so that is why I am giving them a 4 stars review but I believe there is room for improvement with the service. Overall, the food is good for the price.
So I stumbled upon this place when visiting Ogden Utah. The food was great and the price was fair. Service was really good to. I would highly recommend stopping by when you’re in the area, great family place!
