Beautiful take away Sunday lunch from here. Plenty of it and flavoursome. Well worth it for £10 each. Does a cracking pint of Guinness as well.????
Great food at a really good price
A real gem of a place we were staying at the campsite in the Dare Valley Country Park, its just under a mile to walk to the pub either via the lake a more flatter route or by the closed dare road which is more hilly. The food is fantastic and the hosts really lovely. We ate on our first night at the park and as we couldn't decide what to have on the first night we felt we needed to return again to try the other options. The prices are competitive and the portions generous. I would highly recommend and we will be back again when we visit the area.
Went for Sunday lunch ,and my Husband been a chef for 40 yrs and you can guarantee he will find fault with some thing ,but when we had lunch in the Ton absolutely no complaints from him we hit the bulls eye going again this Sunday. And Elaine and Sam are brilliant Hosts if your thinking of going you want be sorry .Noreena Williams.

Went here to celerbrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary. Had Sunday lunch really lovely. Then homemade trifle for desert. Very friendly staff and locals. Will definitely go back again.
Amazing local pub lovely owners friendly atmosphere and child friendly amazing food also lucky to live at end of the street to the Ton.
