Located in the Porter Ranch Vineyards, it's one of the newer eateries at this location. Parking during the beginning of the weekend is problematic as it gets super busy because of the multitude of restaurants and the AMC Theatre. Walking into the place it seems a little too bright taking away from the ambiance. Stylistically it's a modern sleek eatery. Has a small bar ????. Decently sized sushi bar for patrons saddling up to sushi chefs.
Service is pleasant and immediate. I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner aaaannd it was a polite no go. The salad was super bland with a barely there soy vinaigrette, the miso soup was watery and too Salty. The chicken was rubbery and teriyaki sauce was runny. However the sushi turned out pretty good. Had the Philly Roll, creamy salmon hand roll, and the 911 roll.
I'll have to try the other dinner items, but the chicken teriyaki in its current form is a no go. Definitely go there for there sushi offerings.
Excellent place to sit and enjoy eating sushi. Very affordable prices, excellent service, waitresses are smily face and super friendly. The taste of sushi was one of a kind (Thanks to the cheif). Its a must go place if you are visiting or passing by Rinaldi street.
We come here almost every week. The sushi is exceptional and always fresh and delicious. You’d be hard press to find any fresher in the valley. Mr.Tomo and the staff are always gracious and welcoming and attentive to our needs. The decor and atmosphere is inviting and spacious with a beautiful sushi bar. I don’t do reviews but I have to express the joy and satisfaction we get when we come here especially with the entire family.
I discovered this amazing sushi spot while visiting a friend in a Porter Ranch. The sushi was fresh and high-quality, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning.
My husband has dietary restrictions. Kevin went above and beyond to make sure the foods we ordered were safe for him to consume. The food was very tasty with beautiful presentation.
The service was exceptionally poor, perhaps the worst I've experienced at a sushi restaurant. The staff displayed arrogance and inattentiveness. Additionally, they mistakenly delivered our order to another table and then chastised the customers when they ate it. I will not be returning.
Great sushi! It’s not cheap but it’s in line with Katsuya in terms of quality and price. The nigiri is well marinated and has the perfect texture. Even the rolls and appetizers are great. My favorite hot dish is the soft shell crab. We’ve been a few dozen times and it has consistently been excellent.
Service is terrible.
We ordered two chicken teriyaki. One comes with fried (brown color) and the other one is steamed(white color). I asked why these are not the same. The server said "I have no idea and I am busy". We order salmon but we got shrimp. One item was missing and takes forever. I ask to talk with manager and they said no manager or owner there. If you ruin your weekend dinner, you should check in here.
