WOW, this was recommended as a great breakfast place so we drove 40 minutes, passing a dozen breakfast options. Time well spent to get fresh, one of a kind breakfast treats. Hot Cakes like I have never seen or tasted. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the difference. We ordered 2 omelets one Western and one Brisket, both huge and delicious.
Do your self a favor and try the Bloody Mary or an Irish Coffee while the cooks prepare your made from scratch order. The Best Breakfast in the area. See you again…!
I normally love this place the food is usually delicious. Service is horrendous they had two waitresses working which for the size of the restaurant is enough. We placed a pickup order about 10 til noon was told it would take 30 minutes. No big deal. I honestly wouldn’t have minded if it took an hour if I would have known ahead of time. (Definitely not work lunch friendly) we get to the restaurant at 12:30 nearly so we can say 40 minutes since we ordered. We waited as the customers in front paid their bill and then we were up. We said we had a pickup order. She said “no pickup orders are out right now” (Bags with takeout containers are out on the counter) so we backup and wait. She did not ask what our order was or any info just told us it wasn’t ready… a woman was already there waiting for a pickup order we see to the left. We wait and for a while still see the takeout containers on the counter. About 12:45 the waitress tells us our pickup order is ready with the bags that had been on the counter prior to us arriving. I looked at the bags I’m confused as we had an order with 2 separate pancakes and 3 lunch meals so it was not enough. I tried to ask are you sure that’s ours as she cut us off saying “do you need silverware” “I need you to make a decision” so I repeat I do not believe this is ours. Turns out is was the woman’s who had been in the building prior to us. Mind you this food has been sitting out since we came in the building at 12:30 so it’s had been sitting there for over 15 minutes bagged and the woman had been there the whole time. Frustrated we settle back a moment later I see 5 containers come out from kitchen staff and then left on the counter. I’m pretty sure this is ours at this point at 12:58 the waitress finally comes over to bag the bags and check us out. Confirm order and we leave. Get to my office, less than 5 minutes away. Go to open my pancake (a strawberry cheesecake pancake) it’s completely plain besides just strawberry on the bottom, no syrup included with said bland pancake. We got a banana pudding one also absolutely plain! AN 8 DOLLAR PANCAKE!!! My fries were ice cold like they were hard fried and not finished in the middle. My turkey peppercorn sandwich was delicious a little burnt but very good and that is the only savior to this meal.
What an amazing little place. First I would love to compliment Shelly! We had no idea they were about to close when we walked in. However, Shelly greeted us with a big ole smile and asked us what we would like. She is kind and obviously loves what she is doing. As soon as I saw the tomato sandwich on the menu I was in heaven and it was absolutely delicious! I paired it with a cup of potato soup and macaroni salad. Both of those were great as well. Patrick had a Ruben to which he gave a 10 out 10. We will be back!!!
Omg! This place is divine! Be prepared to sit a spell while you wait on the magic to happen in the kitchen. Everything we had was worth every moment of Love that chef put into the delicious food that was bestowed upon us. This is definitely the place to go for a delicious leisurely meal! You will not be disappointed.
This is the cutest little brunch spot. Very homey atmosphere, like you stepped into someone's house for a bite. The food was phenomenal and so filling. The portions are perfect for the price. We all left full and with a to-go box! The wait is what you would expect for a home-cooked style meal, and it comes out hot! The meat lovers omelet was a smash hit for kiddo. They went above and beyond with the meat. And the home fries are so packed with flavor, the absolute best I've ever tried, highly recommend!
Total disappointment. We could not wait to go to the new location and made it over today. We stood by the door over 20 minutes. We were never greeted (and there were certainly no smiles) when we arrived and every time a staff walked past us, they’d say “we will seat you soon”. They weren’t that busy, there were open tables. We loved the Belleview location. This lacks the charm of the old location, and the vibe is gone. Sadly, we won’t be back. DO BETTER!!!!!
This is a farm to table restaurant. Produce is bought locally.Food is fixed fresh.Cooking is done on site.Like they smoke there own meats.
The pancakes were raw we had to send them back. The server tried to say it was the syrup and butter that was making it look raw but it was definitely too raw. The kitchen manager was walking by and said it was definitely not cooked and remade it herself. Then the server said her eyes are bad and really couldn't see it. It was brightly lit. I don't think she wanted to do her job because it was close to them being closed. The cheese omelette was gross. The cheese was not melted and it was cheap sliced cheese.
