I enjoyed my time with TLI and only left due too co drivers turning out to be lazy or just plain stupid! Otherwise, the company was a good place to be, until I took the oilfield bait and made a lot of money, not normally found in just OTR jobs!
At Trancso Lines you must have a good dispatcher on your side or you will fail. Orientation is not thorough and lots of really important information are not disclosed until you're long down the road. They are trying to grow too fast... the drivers pay the price in lack of proper communication and relevant information. Health insurance premiums are really high for families! Unaffordable unless you’re single.
If you want to join TLI/RTL be sure to come with a list of questions (all relevant questions to your success as a driver) and write down all the answers you are given. Trust me when I say you need everything in writing at this company. Communication is not their strong suit. Ask ask ask several people the same thing until you get the correct answer. They aren't forthcoming when it comes to detention, layover, breakdown pay, etc... You'll need to fight for your money ????. Again, write down everything! Keep track of all your miles, arrival and departure times.

I've been here twice and twice i have been discriminated by natasha smh she should understand i am there for a job and not to make friends most staff are always with attitude and giving ugly faces cause they didn't get their job right we are there for work we all are and should never be discriminating for our looks color of skin or size of body I truly wanted to work here but keep getting discriminated so i don't think I'll ever be coming back EVER
It's not the best company but not the worst either. Orientation was really good, but they bring in 40+ new drivers every week that's a major red flag. The pay is very low, no matter how hard you run or where you run, you'll barely gross $1,000. I left after a month.
*Also note, a majority of the 5 star reviews are totally fake.
The staff is amazing, drivers don't have to worry about making it to a truck stop for overnight parking. If passing thru, the yard has its on overnight parking washer machine & shower facilities. Mechanic services as well. And for new drivers, they do have 3 day classes there. And you're able to talk to your dispatcher in person if need be.
So far, I love ABSOLUTELY everything about this company. You are not just a number. We came from a freight company that we worked as a team for over 3 years and got a forced resignation due to the fact the pet policy changed. Well TLI had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH OUR DOG... had us on the way to orientation that night and received a sign on bonus, a raise per mile where we were topped out at other company, AND when you call a real person answers and fixes what needs done!!! WAY TO RUN A COMPANY TRANSCO!!!! And thank you!!!
Very strict company company. They monitor you on camera 24 hrs a day. I was literally terminated ir getting stuck in the mud
I have a few company on my resume but got to get the experience somehow and have to find a company who really want you to stay and they become your home so that's why you going to go through a few company because not all companies is pleasant. they're bias and judgmental and really there for a check & what I observe they choose who they want to give a pleasant experience to it & it can possibly be supremacy but they can reassign you another truck but they chose not to because their bias too a certain demographic of people but want others to succeed that looks like them, sad to say but no driver would expect that because they think it's just life but no it's not life it's mankind and what they choose to do with their free will so they don't have to give you a pleasant experience if they don't want to
