I always try a pork pie when we are away. I can honestly say this pork pie was amazing. I actually went back and got another one for later
I have been in the shop twice now whilst on holiday in tideswell 2022 and 2023. Both times I have found the staff to be very unhelpful and certainly do not offer customer service. Totally different to the fish and chip who could not be more friendly and helpful, excellent customer service
Was not open when we visited even though google maps said it should have been. No open times advertised in window
Fantastic bakery with top notch products served by lovely staff.

Our first time in the Peak District, bought 2 Steak & Kidney pies and 1 Pork pie when visiting Tideswell (Cathedral Village of the Peak National Park), the best ever pies, the pastry was excellent and the meat delicious, just like pies used to be. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, would certainly recommend to friends. Thank you.
Great local bakers. Lovely bread.
Lots of chutneys and preserves and lovely homemade cakes and biscuits too.
Highly recommend.
They also do lovely fresh takeout rolls too order.

Rude and unfriendly staff. Grandson and daughter went in. My grandson had a cough due to allergies. Staff acted like the poor 5 year old boy had the plague and were wiping things down while he was still in there. When my daughter went back in to retrieve an item they had failed to put in her bag the lady behind the counter commented "he should not be in here, he should not be allowed out." Will never shop in this establishment again and would not recommend to anyone, especially to anyone with a disability as you are likely to get the same treatment.
Popped in several times to Tindalls whilst staying in the village for fresh bread & treats.
So good we brought loaves, pork pies, pasties, Oat cakes & biscuits home with us!
