Lovely place to eat on the mountain! The staff were great, plenty of seating, and nice fresh food! The chicken tenders and fries were pretty good for the price and the drinks were refreshing. Convenient from the Outback Gondola as well. Worth a stop on the mountain!
Beautiful spot to stop while skiing the slopes at Keystone. Mountain vistas, clean air, happy people. They were severely understaffed, so the wait was long for food and the garbage was a bit out of control. I am sure it would not be the case with a full staff. Even with that, I very much recommend you stop in. Food was pretty tasty and the atmosphere fantastic.
Food was decent but it's super expensive. Chicken and fries combo was $16.25 and a 20 oz pop brought my total over 26 bucks. There was a 3 dollar fountain option advertised but there was no fountain. The location is gouging here, if they advertise and then don't offer a fair price on the ONLY alternative. The guy at the cash register laughed at me when I asked and said, blame covid. Nice try, remove your false advertisement.
The atmosphere of this mountain top lodge is absolutely perfect. The food service is great, but the prices are insane. Well, it's not insane for skiing standards, but it's just insane in general.
It has become one of the worst options to grab a bite in Keystone. They constantly lack sufficient amount of food and don’t have enough people to work here. It’s deprived of any good food and any good snacks to catch after a day of skiing. There is literally no options here except for some french fries and chicken nuggets they don’t even have nachos and maybe will give you a grilled cheese sandwich. Not acceptable especially that you pay such a high price.
Awesome deck with fantastic views of Breck and Boreas. Huge fireplace to warm by on soft leather couches. Food and drinks are pricey but hey, you're at a resort! Definitely a place worth stopping at!!
------Update!------
Downgraded to a 4 from a 5-star... Food quality has taken a dive and yet remains expensive ($17 for 4 thawed chicken fingers, $17 for a cheeseburger)... And they no longer allow outside food and beverages inside during reservations. Not family-friendly anymore.
Braised pork noodle was excellent for mountain food
Horrible experience! Trays were wet. I had to ask for a drying towel to dry my tray off so my food didn't get soaked. One of the employees put his arm in my food reaching across to get a tray and didn't offer to get me a new plate of food or anything. No one was in line but there were about 6 employees standing around doing nothing but chatting and socializing instead of cleaning. There was plenty of cleaning to do. Trays were wet. Tables were dirty. Condiment container said honey mustard but inside was regular yellow mustard. I asked to speak to a manager about my experience and was laughed at. Also they would not give my daughter a To-go bag when I wanted to take our food with us but their sign says they have carry out options. Apparently not! When I get back down to Keystone Resort. I will be sharing with the Management my experience today.
