First and foremost: It's grocer with a taco shop in the back. I can't speak for the grocery part but I love their food. Best authentic Mexican in Austin for sure. The birria tacos are the best item on the menu IMO. They also have birria ramen (YUM) and a desert counter that always looks sublime. Yeah, it's not the fanciest place around and sometimes the cashier doesn't speak English. That's why you order with numbers. Don't come if you're not cool with that. ALSO, they make the food fresh so there's usually a 15-20 minute wait just like ANY OTHER sit down restaurant. If you're in time crunch or don't want to wait around for your food, call ahead and do pick up. I dine in and do pick up orders regularly and don't have issues. TLDR: no frills authentic Mexican in the back of a grocer. good tacos.
We got the gorditas, tacos and taquitos. Super good. Rice and beans are good too. Glass sodas too
Order the fish, was so over done i didn't get a bite off it. Her response was next time tell them not to burn it.
They don't want white people their. Nobody speaks English so why not just have a sign saying no whites!? I'm sure I won't go back.Not my first visit. Simple street tacos are more their speed.-3

Authentic Mexican food, clean, fast service, and friendly staff
The fold tastes good,, service is a lil slow. Not too professional but very familiar. I dobt recommend the deserts. They are not as good as they look. Good Micheladas dough!
