We were disappointed that there is no happy hour currently but we were told their other restaurant will be opening soon that does have it. Magnificent views of the ocean…sitting area by fireplace and great appetizers and drinks. Oh yes sign me up!
The pork belly lettuce wraps and all 3 drinks I had were all top shelf. Not to mention the awesome service. Then to top it off the view.
Unfortunately, this brunch experience was one of the worst I've had—it didn't light up my day. The charges felt overpriced, and coupled with low-quality service, it left a bad impression overall. While the view of the ocean was okay, the morning timing didn't do justice, and it might fare better during sunset.
Our time here was memorable. The good was in good proportion. The quality was great, the service was great. We had a 1030a.m. reservation of 12 so it felt a little rushed to order being the kitchen closes at 11a.m. until dinner but literally everything else was fantastic. Our waiters were great and cut my baby shower cake for us perfectly and stored it for us as well being it was an ice cream cake! Would definitely recommend. Views were priceless.
Staff are extremely friendly and kind. Restaurant is very kid friendly, while also maintaining a fine-dining atmosphere. The sunset views are spectacular. My spouse and kids truly enjoyed our experience and will be coming back soon.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location with tables overlooking on the beach and ocean. They offered a ribeye (not New York) steak that was definitely subpar; fatty and lots of gristle. The service was fine, champagne was excellent, and dessert devine. We would not go back; too many other good restaurants with views of the ocean nearby.
Dinner was served as room service as Monterey County continues to be closed for in-door dining. The view of the bay is spectacular and amplified by the crashing of the waves. Main entrees were good, with flavors unique enough to distinguish between both species of fish. Dessert was slightly lackluster, with the chocolate torte falling flat with flavor and a more fudge-like consistency.
The food here is very good, although quite expensive. The menu is also small, so you may not be able to repeat-dine more than twice if you're staying at the hotel. The restaurant's most unique selling point is the view, which is stunning to say the least. Every seat in the house provides the view, which is great as well. Overall a nice experience.
