Great place to get dim sum to go. Pretty much everything there is good. Kids really like their beef crepes.
Also, must they their a little spicy fried chicken wings.
The pace only take cash and line is usually pretty long, average wait is about 20-30mins. The place open pretty early 7a. Usually 1 or 2 people in-line before 8a.
This is a typically Chinese food/dim sum takeout place. There’s always a line outside. I waited in line and got some dim sums. The foods and the prices were pretty decent compared to some popular dim sum restaurants. There’s a phone number posted for takeout. I tried the number several times on a Saturday but no answer. So if you planning to get food from this place be prepare to wait in-line.
Was driving by in the afternoon and wanted a snack. Have not been to this Chinese deli in years. Bought a chicken bun and egg yolk bun for a dollar each. These buns are a good size. Not fancy or gourmet. Perfect for afternoon snack!
They carry many Chinese deli style items including dim sum. Staff wearing masks and lots of street parking.
Yes, the dim sum is fresh and delicious (brought out fresh every 5 mins). Yes, there is a line (because it's fresh, delicious and affordable). Yes, it is a cash only place (hard to take credit cards with all those fees since the prices are super reasonable). Yes, we should tip here. Why do we tip at a coffee shop and not tip people that cook all day things that I couldn't even follow along to a YouTube on how to make the wrapper? Dim sum ain't easy. Yes, the locals here don't do reviews (thus the actual number of reviews for now) You will not regret trying the shumai, the shrimp dumpling and the chive dumpling (my go to). If you like good dim sum; leave your money here and leave with a full belly, and a large smile. I did.
Always a line in early afternoon and in mornings on the weekend. Really good for take-out dim sum and for lunch special (with rice or with noodles +2 items)
Cash only. Very reasonably priced.
This place always has a long queue out the door each time I passed by so I decided today to give it a try. Ordered the typical siu mai, pork and chicken steamed buns, and some sort of cilantro shrimp dumpling. It's cash only, and the woman taking my order was rude.
As to the food, the pork bun was tiny, the meat was dry, and the sauce overly sweet. The siu mai was okay as was the shrimp dumpling. The rest was only okay too.
slow, very slow, dim sums are good, but not good enough to wait in line for 30 mins
The food was nothing special. Just like your average dim sum and not my personal favorite. The service, however, was not great. The person who helped us was extremely impatient, rushing us while ordering and having a short temper. The reason I didn’t give it two stars is because their food is super affordable. Overall three stars for the three star restaurant.
