A great company to work for. Mark and AJ are excellent and kind hearted people and they both helped in making me a great driver that I am today. Whoever spread bad rumors about these two at the Thompson location in Charlotte if I heard anything it would be hard for me to believe because they both treated me with mad respect. I recommend this company to any driver who wants to become a better driver and that’s even one who has no experience.
Driver was reckless on interstate around Burlington in North Carolina. Honking horn when traffic is backed up and congested and riding your tail end very closely then coming around you and flipping you off and telling you to pull over sticking head out window and looking back as he is driving in a very busy area not paying attention for the drivers around him
Driver in Durham NC tailgated me dangerously on 24 August. No respect for safety at all. Apparently this is standard for this company...
Great personalities in the office and in the shop. The owners put a lot of stress on the office personnel. Which makes them very frustrated then hard to deal with. If you have anything on your criminal record I suggest that you do not go there. the dispatch will stereotype you before you even get a opportunity to explain are perform duties. The dispatch is very forgetful at times she complains she has a lot of drivers to do be careful of the miscommunication between dispatching driver. There are you do is told office ask no questions. Some of the mechanics get upset if you write the truck up too much I guess because it shows that you were the driver before you or the mechanics are not doing your job.It’s a franchise officer that ran by a husband-and-wife. So be careful sometimes the husband puts his wife before business and she plays on it. Also she will not admit to her wrongdoing to cause the frustration.
An RJ Thompson truck almost ran us off the road just now because the driver was on his phone and waving his hands and yelling into the phone. I would have called, but there was no number I could find on the truck or on here.
This was a great experience with this company fro. The front office to the shop and yard. And mark has great communication skills with training and all
good company and employees. owner is a super nice guy . dont mind towing there trucks
