This was a great place for lunch. If you want to sit outside you might have a wait but the inside was available right away for lunch. The chicken sandwich was very flavorful with not a lot of heat. The carrots were not overwhelming. The waiter was very attentive and helpful.
Chicken wings were very fresh meat and crispy. Garlic Lime sauce was the best. Main dish, it was disappointing. They didn’t even serve salmon with lemon. There was no taste. I am not a big fan of salt or seasonings but it was super bland. I didn’t even eat vegetables. Barely finished fish. Chicken was also bland. Their meat is definitely fresh but can cook better. Drink was not satisfying at all. I am not picky but it taste like medicine. Service was good.
I visit this place a couple of times by now and I still think the food is wonderful (I checked a lot of other things from the menu since my first visits), but the service sometimes can get things late/wrong or forget small things like sharing plates or a side sauce. Overall my origin rating stay the same.

Great place!
The food here is wonderful (Farmer’s Grilled Cheese and Farmhouse Classic Burger are the go to for me) and the service is usually good (sometimes when the place is packed it hard to find a waiter), they got nice variety of drinks (beers and ciders) and overall the space is cozy and you will fill very comfortable sitting there. I don't know why but the floor is always sticky (so don't drop anything :).
Great American fare and bar food! Fresh ingredients and good salads, better than what you’d expect for a bar-style restaurant. We got salads with add ons on top, and started with fish and chips and cheese curds (yum). Great service and nice atmosphere. Very expansive beer menu.
Went with a group of nine for brunch and were in and out in just over an hour. We never felt rushed and the service was spot on. The food was very good, but the portions of French toast are almost overkill, it could have used a longer soak possibly.. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were perfect however. And the cheese curds are worth the trip alone- I was too busy eating them to get a pic!
Cute date spot! Great location in Evanston. Walking distance from a lot of other things. The service at the bar was great and then when we were seated our waiter, Josh, was super efficient and did a great job. The pretzel appetizer was hot and fresh. My cod seemed a bit under seasoned, but the pork chop was totally something I would come back for. Nice sit down restaurant overall! They do not take same day reservations, they must be made in advance.
Living up to its name, very good country comfort food with a great mission of supporting sustainable, local farms. The eggs benedict eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was mild and tasty with a hint of chipotle. The Croque Madame was also excellent! Service and atmosphere was great. You'll like it!
First time visit for brunch. It was super busy (family weekend at NU) but the service was very good. Food all tasted a bit flavorless. I'd go again to try some different menu items.
