I've been a fan of the Zone for years, and the fact that they just remodeled the store inside and out actually matters to me, because it shows that they care about what customers want. It's purple and green now which are happier colors instead of pitch black. And the inside of the store is way more accessible now. Good job guys!
The Zone has seen better days, with the downsizing on a lot of there usual carries back in January, and employees I watched sit idly by as I tried buzzing near 4PM. Instead I was met with a pierced female employee who chose to scream across the store at me through the closed door. With the huge influx of smoke shops it’s difficult to stay loyal when this is the new norm for The Zone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Remodeled the store and now it looks very barren with a strange color scheme. Got rid of everything other than posters, vapes, and pipes. I came here for hair dye and their other products for years and now it looks like the other empty smoke shops everywhere. Very poor design choice and cashier was aggressive. You cannot see prices of anything without having to ask her to walk around and take it out which is nerve wracking and takes too long.
Stephanie is always so friendly and helpfull she takes the time to get to know her customers and help them with there smoke shop needs.
The comment about the store being run by junkies pisses me off because I run the store and I run it well, 3:45pm we start shift change until about 4:05 we have 8 hours of paperwork to do as well as counting the drawer down putting our deposits in the safe and waiting for the next shift to count the drawer and for the comment that said you've been waiting outside at 8:00 a.m. and the store is not open yet the store doesn't open till 9am just FYI. It's central of course there's homeless people around the store we're off central! IT DOESNT MEAN WE DONT TRY TO RUN THEM OFF AND AWAY FROM THE STORE. ME AND MY EMPLOYEES DO THE BEST THAT WE CAN WITH WHAT WERE GIVEN. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS
Wow! This place is amazing! The remodel looks awesome. I'm glad to see there is new management that is actually trying to keep the homeless fentanyl users out. The rest of the block actually seems cleaner now. The new manager is almost always there to help. The new lighting actually allows customers to see exactly what you're shopping for. I'm glad to see more glass and vapes instead of the short selection and just junk to look at. I hope they bring back the beverages soon. The employee mentioned getting MTG, Pokemon, and D&D. EXCITED! I definitely recommend stopping in for your disposable vaping needs at a better price than the other smoke shops.
Just called to ask if they still had a vape they carried and the guy that answered was really rude just said they don't carry them and hung up. Been going here a while, seems like customer service has really gone down.
This place is ran by junkies. They close the store at 3:45p til whenever they are done getting high. Don't waste your time coming here. Always homeless people by the door. This place is awful.
Friendly and warm staff, knowledgeable about the products they carried. They had a decent selection of glass, papers, and other accessories. Will return.
