The Yards Pub is a great venue for parties. I have attended a wedding reception here that was very nice. Last week they hosted an end of term/graduation get together for DCCC. The staff is very helpful and the bar service is great. They have outside space for over flow and smokers. Highly recommend for class reunions, large parties, and a good night out.
The Yard Pub has live music, so have a drink, a meal and enjoy.
The new menu features so many amazing food options. The chicken tortilla soup is absolutely delicious! The staff and decor is wonderful!

The yard pub is the place to go to when looking for a good time or even to host an event!! My family hosted my sister’s bridal shower in their private room and it was amazing!! Great service and food with your own bartender! I would most definitely recommend! But when it comes to just attending the Yard pub in general you are guaranteed a great time! They always have great music and specials going on! They have a bar that you can access from the outdoors which is the best during the summer time in some good weather! Great place to gather with some friends during the week or weekend????????
What an amazing bar. As soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in a clean, awesome environment. The overall atmosphere is a modern nice looking esthetic. The bartenders and servers are always so nice and kind. The food is absolutely amazing, and unlike most bars and restaurants, they change their menu up to keep you wanting to come back to try new food items. Lastly, the beer, or in my case, the twisted teas are always ice cold! Highly recommend taking a visit here next time you plan a night out on the town!
Upon walking into the pub, no one greeted us. After looking around for a minute or two, I found a woman sitting off in a corner at table in the back. I then asked if she worked here (her answer was yes) and then if we just sit anywhere (also a “yes”). After ordering a soup, beer, and two entrees, we waited another ten to fifteen minutes with nothing. I waved for our waitress’s attention, ordered a hot tea and asked her about the beer (it came about 3 minutes afterwards).
After waiting ANOTHER 20 minutes, we still had no food (including my soup). I asked the waitress if it normally takes this long…she indicated that there was a party.
After 30 minutes of no food and VERY limited interaction with our waitress, I approached her and asked for the check for my tea and the beer. At this point, I was noticeably perturbed about the lack of communication regarding the wait.
Fast forward, our food came out about 10 minutes later…and that was the restaurant’s saving grace…because the food was delicious.
I chalk our experience up to limited staffing with a focus on the party they were hosting…and lack of good customer service. I am understanding to a party and/or limited staffing…but communication is key. To me, I got the impression that our waitress was fairly young, minimal experience with serving, perhaps related or close friends with the owner and/or filling in for someone … either way, if it matters, I’d recommend encouraging managers to reminding their staff about greeting customers as well as communicating with them timely regarding delays/unforeseen circumstances.
I hosted a 40th birthday for my husband with 70 guests. Kelly was incredibly helpful with planning a menu that fit my budget. The food staff far exceeded every expectation. Everything was always full and no one had to ask for anything! Chelsea and Eamon were fun and fast bartenders. The party was great, the food was wonderful and they even took care of the music! Everyone had a blast! The party room was gorgeous and private and our guests loved the firepits outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill and plan to come back for our next event. Can't say enough good things!
The boneless chicken wings had a good spice to them (they were mild) tasted pretty good would get them again 8/10. The pizza was alright it could of been a bit more cooked 6.5/10. The chicken quesadilla was really good had a nice crispy crunchy to the wrap really recommend it 8.5/10.
