Best KPortal Reviews

X pot is a great experience! We had dinner in the immersive dining room so the different scenes we dined through was amazing!!! Our waiter Ryan or Brian (sorry I don’t remember exactly) was such a blast!!!! The food was good but I would say it’s more like a 4/5. The hand pull noodle presentation was amazing though!!! So much fun! Overall the dining experience was so much fun and we had such a good time! Thank you!
We went last night for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Ryan, our server, was excellent and helped us through the whole process since we were new to the hot pot experience. Great food, excellent service and unique experience. Glad we chose The X Pot to celebrate our anniversary!
One of the best dining experience I have had outside of Michellen Star restaurants. Quality of food whether beef or seafood is simply amazing. Wagyu sliders are out of this world and the Kobe beef is the best in the world. King crab and Scallops were so good. It's pricey but worth every penny.
Amazing restaurant and service was superb. Waiter was attentive and accommodated the entire party from beginning till end. He made our birthday lunch a memorable one especially with the amazing tasting menu. Only disappointment was not notifying our group sooner regarding one of the menu items we were looking most forward to- we were informed late that the wagyu sandwiches were not available 1.5 hour into our meals.
However, would 10/10 go back to this establishment when in Vegas
I was half expecting this to be mostly IG hype, but pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my experience at The X Pot Las Vegas. I dined here for a joint birthday dinner, and we had the smaller private room with the chef’s tasting menu. The service was absolutely wonderful – each staff member we interacted with seemed to truly care about making our evening a memorable one.
Food presentation was beautiful and over the top as expected, with the sashimi & himalayan salt block grill and kobe beef courses accompanied by dry ice fog. There was a face-changing performance in the main dining room at one point. And if you get the dancing noodle side, it comes with a one-man show, complete with dance music to get you hyped for the night out.
On top of all that, the food was truly delicious. For the hot pot soup base, we selected half house special spicy and half creamy truffle mushroom. The house special spicy comes out with a bear figurine that dissolves after the hot broth is poured over it. And fair warning, it is truly spicy – our group found it tolerable for dipping, but too spicy to sip on. The truffle mushroom broth helped balance things out thankfully.
While the hot pot is the main focus, the sides stole the show for me. There was so much A5 wagyu, and it was beautifully marbled and tender. There was plenty thinly sliced for dipping in the hotpot, but also as tartare, sashimi, nigiri, in dumplings, and grilled. The tenderness was only surpassed by the grilled kobe beef supplement – probably my single favorite bite of the evening.
The decadent bone marrow bibimbap was also a highlight. And the al dente chew of the fresh dancing noodles was very satisfying. Cocktails were good too, both balanced and aesthetic. The only dud for me was the wagyu tripe, which came cut in large sheets that made it hard to eat with the firmer texture. Too bad, because I’m usually a big tripe fan.
Yes the meal can be quite pricey, but not out of line for the Vegas strip. I thought it was well worth it for how wonderful the experience was on all fronts – one of the most fun dinners I’ve had in a while. And this wasn’t even their 5D spectrum dining room experience!
Also you should be quite full on the tasting menu. I didn’t eat all day and still found it hard to finish everything.
Dinner with chef’s tasting menu - great experience and quality meat. Went here while visiting on a short trip and it was a mid week night. Decided to do the tasting menu since doing the combo wasn’t that much lower and you get more choices. Upgraded with the salt block grill because why not? Picked the lobster and Tom yum broths. Both were very flavorful, one of the bests we’ve had and both of us love hot pot! The wagyu sandwich was on the smaller side than expected was very tasty. The swan cake had a custard like filling and balanced out the rest. I was getting full with the other items couldn’t finish all of the tartare. For the set around we chose the bamboo fungus shrimp paste roll, spicy beef, x pork ball and wagyu dumpling.
Entertaining was the salt block and when you’re ready they will grill your meat. The other items were two sashimi and two you boil. By then we had to slow down and not enjoy as much broth as to not be so full.
Overall very enjoyable experience - at $187pp definitely saved for a special occasion! Service was very helpful and although a bit crowded, never felt rushed.
The X Pot is definitely a fine dining experience. The meat cuts are excellent and dishes are beautifully displayed. The service is excellent as you would expect from an up scale restaurant. The only let down was the hotpot soup base which didn’t do justice for the meat being used. It wasn’t horrible but I’ve definitely had better soup bases at other hot pot restaurants that are your more standard fare.
I'll admit, this place is as excessive, but it's as expected for Vegas standards. Even so, I did enjoymy dinner here and while the set menu was expensive they did give us a lot of delicious food. So be ready to indulge. I got the creamy lobster broth and their dipping sauces where great.
