The welcome was warm and friendly. My daughter was entertained from the start with crayons and paper. The service was great. The food was lovely and value for money was definitely provided. Carbonara pizza was delicious and everything was cooked well. Finished with a lovely chocolate cake. Overall great experience and I’m happy we chose to eat here.
The coffee was very strong and a bit bitter for me, ordered a full breakfast and when it arrived some of the food was hot or warm, toast was more like warm bread and there was salad leaves with cherry tomatoes?
The TV at the end of the cafe was playing some chilled out video with very annoying harp music.
Comfortable peaceful atmosphere. Delicious and authentic borsht. Ukrainian breakfast was delicious, non greasy and served with a unique and flavourful hash brown. Flat white was lovely. We want to return every week.
The borsch was absolutely stunning????, it feels a lot more than just a restaurant dish, it feels like love and joy, with the proper sides: toast with salo and spring onions, incredible ????

Partner brought home a small breakfast and a sandwich. Breakfast had no mushrooms, no tomato. The bacon was fried within an inch of its life and falling apart like a dog had chewed it. The sausages dry and hashbrows falling to bits. Disappointed for the price. Wouldn’t have paid more than a fiver
My cousins and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here on 25th January 2024. The breakfasts were beautifully presented, great value and scrumptious as well. I had one of the house specialities, filled dough pasties, which were very tasty. Dog friendly as well.
Went to the cafe today at 1pm (2 people)
I would say it was moderately busy but not heaving. We waited 20 mins for the drinks to arrive. We then waited 1 hour 20 minutes for any food to arrive. I ordered the breakfast, I had asked for no black pudding and no tomatoes. When it arrived it had both on the plate. I asked the waiter and he took it away and scraped it off and brought me back the same plate. The toast and the beans were stone cold and the eggs were not runny. I asked the waiter to come back and handed him the toast which was freezing and explained it wasn’t very good especially for how long we had been waiting, and it wasn’t very warm and we were still missing the other meal. He replaced just the toast. Throughout all this, we were still missing our other meal (a pizza.) The pizza arrived about 15 mins after the breakfast was served and was very greasy. We were offered 20% off the bill but realistically after everything that was wrong with the meal, waiting nearly 2 hours and eating at different times, I think we shouldn’t have paid at all. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning again. I would not recommend it.
