Quick service and great pint of carling, toilets were excellent clean & for washing your hands not a problem, they have live football I like these pubs where there's plenty of room.
It's not somewhere I would usually go to. Down to the fact I'm getting too old for partying. Called in late one sat night. It cost a few quid to get in which was fair enough. Staff were o.k and so were the prices for drinks. The atmosphere was good with a few suspicious suspects. The music played was house, funky house, dance. A decent selection of music. The crowed was mostly under 30. I'll be honest I had a really really good time busting out some moves on the dance floor. My taxi was booked but I wish I could if stayed a bit longer..
Visited on a Friday night. Usually really enjoyed coming here however to enter, have my bag searched and be physically padded down! I was with a group so went along with it but to say we were all shocked was an understatement. Not sure what they were expecting to find, you wouldn't find drugs like that but it wasn't a pleasant experience and I really didn't feel it was necessary. Although it did make me wonder whether it's somewhere I want to be spending my time if they feel that's necessary. Unless they have high levels of knife and gun crime, in which case I wouldn't want to go back. That being said, the service was good and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely go back in the week but not sure about weekend evenings
It was a great venue but when ordering drinks I was shocked to be served doubles when I was ordering spirits. If I had wanted a double i would have ordered a double. If it is a standard practice then a notice should be visible advising of this. As a diabetic I had planned my drinking but instead I was put into a situation which I had not planned for due to being served doubles without them being requested.
Very calm on weds night, perfect for us! Friendly bar staff, good seating area.
Love this place, good for all ages , good entertainment.
Friendly staff . large beer garden .three 50in TV,s in this location . unusual .to see . outdoor bar facility . don't know if it is in service? .pub based in shifnal town centre . reason for my visit . train delayed .I just think it's a bit expensive .that is my only complaint . regarding the venue .
Flipping joke that you pay before you get in but still have to que to get in with other customers that haven't paid.
