This place was cute. The food was okay. I got the fish and chips, and my husband got the bangers and mash. I would say my fish was better than most. It didn't feel greasy, which was nice. The batter was nice and crispy. The fries could have been cooked a little better, but I loved the skinny fry. The bangers and mash was good, but it wasn't anything special. With that said, he did say he would get it again. Also, our waitress was really nice and attentive, and the guy that brought out our food was really nice, too!
The view was the best part. It was nice a quiet at the bar. Sat right in front and watched the local claims spit up water.
Overall, I would probably give it a 3.5/5. But a 4 will do.
Friendly, atmospheric tavern that serves families. We appreciated how warm they were. My wife had the chicken pot pie and it was good. I had the Cesar salad with salmon, but it lacked much flavor. I loved the view though.

The view is beautiful and the food is fresh and tasty. We had the Ruben Sandwich… house made corned beef was fabulous and the Goat cheese and Beet salad was fresh and plentiful. Full bar, great Guinness , good atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
We waited 1.5 hours for our table & food total, so we missed out on other things we had planned to do. We each ordered a cider: one was pear that tasted a bit like a beer, and the other I think was marionberry (my partner liked it a lot). Our food was decent, would probably order something different next time. The view of the water from our seats outside was very nice (seating available through bar area 21+). Overall, I’d try eating here again during hours that are not so busy, and I’d order something different.
It's funny how there's a "White Horse" just about anywhere you visit, but this one is really something special. All the staff were friendly and most of the locals too! The whole space was very clean and well kept; the view is really what makes drinking here so relaxing and worthwhile. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!
Irish pub style restaurant / bar on waterfront with view of bay. Warm atmosphere and decent eats. I had Irish stew QVC the wife had shepherds pie. Both were very good except the pie was not hot enough for her. Service was fast and friendly just the way we like it. Worth revisiting.
This place saved the day. We tried to go to the Mexican place & they basically turned us away. Really bad impression of that place.
So we went to White Horse Pub instead & it was a complete 180 from the Mexican place. The server greeted us & sat us immediately.
We got a window seat facing the water. We were able to order apps immediately, & the meals soon after. The server was super nice & accommodating.
Food was really good. I was really happy with everything we ordered.
The prices were a little high, imo, but compared with the place before, plus the view, the quality food & quality of service, I was able to overlook the high cost.
