A nice traditional local pub with a good selection of real ale.
Quaint village pub selling locally brewed ale as well as well known beers. The pub walls are literally covered in all sorts of industrial mining memorabilia. I think I spotted what looked like a canary cage used to check for gas in the mines. Prices were reasonable and staff and locals were friendly and welcoming. No card payment available so remember to take cash when you visit.

This is a proper Pub. Landlady is brilliant. You won't find a better atmosphere anywhere.

A real pub full of lovely welcoming people. The rustic brewpub offers not only its own fantastic ales but also a selection of proper cider and wines. A real gem.
Very popular village pub serving their own brewed real ale, open at 2pm and there is always somebody in the pub no matter what time you call if you like real ale this is definitely the place for you, there are huge number of matchbox set's along the walls with a bizarre range of antique items hanging from the ceiling.
If you want a proper mens pub then this is it. Warm welcome and lots of old memorabilia hanging up.
