Just had a lovely overnight stay here with my partner. It's an amazing house filled with history and charm. We had a very comfortable stay with a great big breakfast in the morning before checking out. The owners are kind and welcoming, and as a bonus have an adorable dog. Would absolutely reccomend this to anyone looking to stay and explore the costal town of Fowey!
One of the oldest shops in Fowey. Family run coffee shop, excellent service, tasty home-cooked food. Dog friendly which is a big plus for us. We visit here every time we are down in Cornwall. Had highly recommended. I believe they do bed and breakfast too.
I personally haven't used this place as a bed and breakfast but I have gone in there and their food is fabulous. The staff and very friendly and I'm surprised it's not busier! The Well House is very dog friendly and they even have a dog, Frank, who is very sweet. I had a vanilla milkshake, a sandwich and later some icecream; it all tasted wonderful!
Lovely traditional authentic place. Decent menu with loads of options, good value and a beautiful dinky courtyard. Very dog friendly. Our pouch got a 2 course meal of sausage and ice cream
Great location in the heart of Fowey, very warm and friendly hosts, hearty breakfast. Our room was lovely, olde worlde and a little quirky which suits our tastes. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend for a couples short break.
I was expecting a good experience but a lot of the products were bought in such as the cakes, jam and salad dressing which was a disappointment. The sandwiches were poorly made.
The owner was arrogant and unfriendly which is a pity as the waitresses were all very nice.
The Well House is a charming little tea house right in the heart of Fowey - the cream tea was delicious!
We stayed in the cozy guest room upstairs, circa 1430. Beautiful!
