Best KPortal Reviews
First visit, friendly staffing, helpful, cookery books available for reading. Nice relaxed atmosphere, choice of rooms. Well appointed facilities, good choice wines , helpful menu. Tapas just like abroad only better fresher without the travel. Great food . Will be going again.
Amazing food, friendly staff, nice family run pub. Nice and cosy. Im vegetarian and the cheff decided to prepare me a lovely roast veg with all the trimmings. Very recommended.
This pub is a real gem, welcoming and friendly the staff and owners work hard to make every visit special. The Tapas is excellent, all home made and beautifully presented. Highly recommended a visit to this pub, can’t wait to try the Sunday lunches. Maria and Andy are super hosts and have created a traditional British pub with a Mediterranean twist.
Stayed at the rooms next door, popped in here after ladies day races and the chef kindly whipped up some food for us as it was late on a Sunday. We are so glad that she did as the food was incredible. Forget frozen pub meals, this place serves up freshly made tapas style dishes and everything we ate was beautiful. The best garlic prawns I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable and the team of people working were super friendly and really accommodating. We loved it so much we came back this morning for breakfast. Again this did not disappoint, super fresh, quality ingredients served up with a smile. We live in Nottingham and will definitely be back here for dinner soon. Well done to you guys, top job ????????
Fabulous array of delicious tapas food. Lovely cosy setting with very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be returning soon.
We popped in on our way to the races. The kitchen was closed as it was mid afternoon but the lovely owner was more than happy to accommodate us. She made us a lovely selection of tapas. Nice little quaint pub. Lovely staff. Wish we lived nearer would definitely visit again.
We were staying at the accommodation next door. Had the most delicious tapas lunch in the charming garden. Hosts are very friendly as are their lovely staff.
They are very passionate about the food, drink and whole experience they provide.
We also had a problem with a pre booked taxi. We had returned for a drink whilst waiting for our taxi and the staff noticed us waiting outside for a long time. The very kind owner ended up taking us to the wedding we were attending.
As our meal the day before had been so good we had booked for breakfast. This too was amazing. Fresh home cooked food.
Such a great find, wish we lived nearer as this would be a place we’d come to regularly.
As local residents we had not had the chance to visit our new local and it didn't disappoint. We absolutely love what Maria and Andy have done with the place. The ambience is lovely and welcoming and the staff couldn't do enough for us when we visited with the in-laws for an evening meal. The menu was reasonably priced and creative with lots to choose from and the food was really really tasty. After living in the village for ten years it is great to finally experience a true 'local' as our local. Would highly recommend and wish the team at the Vinery all the best for the future.
