This tea room is such a gorgeous hidden gem in borough green. We had afternoon tea and it was all perfection. Tasty sandwiches, scones and baked treats. The chocolate covered strawberries were to die for!

Popped in because as I drove past it just radiated good vibes. Well, Vicky the owner, certainly welcomed me in with all those vibes in abundance.
The home made slice of walnut and apple cake with my cappuccino was sublime.
The vintage jewellery for sale was a surprise and I left with two beautiful brooches. One as a gift for a dear friend and one for myself as a momento.
My first visit to The Village Tearoom and I wasn’t disappointed. Afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday with family which was first class. Great choice of sandwiches and an array of delicious homemade scones and cakes. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be visiting again. Really cute and quaint tea room. There were alternative milk available and 3 cake choices that were vegan! Plus some gorgeous looking non-vegan cakes!

Beautiful little Tea room. Fresh homemade food and great coffee absolute pleasure to visit. Why go to the big commercial coffee shops when you can support a great little small business like this that supports its community.
My first time in this tearoom today and I can only highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They had chatty table today but I wasn't brave enough to join in (maybe next time). I had coffee (flat white), brie and cranberry panini and apple cinnamon walnut cake. The coffee was really good, panini actually filled with enough brie and cranberries (not like in some places that you can't find the filling), cake was good too. The coffee and food was so good that I will be definitely coming back again soon ????
One of my favourite places to relax and chat with friends and family. Cozy, vintage style with lovely background music. Food is delicious and lovely locally sourced coffee. Homemade cakes make for a scrumptious treat and I can never resist taking some caramel shortbread home. 10/10 will be back.
We enjoyed & nice lunch all homemade. Never been before, now I know there a car park almost opposite I will visit again.
